Derrick Haydenhart was born June 22, 1989, in St. Louis Missouri. He was raised there his whole life. He loved all sports, but he had a particular passion for football. He played every day, getting better every day. He was an all around outstanding athlete. Also, he was great in the classroom, Derrick earned himself remarkable grades threw his years of school. He loved watching football, discussing football, and playing football. After the Rams moved to St. Louis, Derrick and his dad went to games all the time. Derrick always wanted to learn more and more about football. He started football in his local Pee-Wee league at about 6 years old. He still plays to this day, but only today, the games he plays are more meaningful, playing and are being watching by hundreds of thousands of people…>>

The football world received a blessing on June 7, 1988, as Derrick Price was born in a small hospital in downtown Chicago. Derrick grew up loving all sports, playing baseball, golf, and football through his young years. He discovered his love for football as he grew older, and became one of the elite receivers in all of the country. His family struggled financially and the thought of Derrick going to college was looking unrealistic, but once they realized how elite he was at the game of football, the family knew he would get a good college education.

The tandem enters their final season in Champagne, Illinois, and this year seeking their first national championship. Both enter as 3^rd Team All-Americans. After a disappointing season last year, expect the Illini to make a run at the national title.
