5 Recruits to Watch

1. QB Michael Perry 6-4 215 from Orlando, FL is the prototypical nfl qb even at this stage. With his NFL arm and accuracy, to his great decision making. Perry should have every school in the country looking for his signature come signing day. But look for this to come down to the big three in florida.

2. ATH John Randolph 6-3 215 from Shreveport, LA is a big time player from the bayou state. He could play multiple positions at the next level but look for some college coach to use him at qb. Should come down to a LSU and Texas battle.

3. HB TayShawn Foster 5-11 190 from Lakeland, FL is probably the fastest player in this class. TayShawn has world class speed that can break any run into a touchdown. Should come down to a SEC or ACC team with the Florida Gators having the early lead.

4. WR Travis Carswell 6-2 188 from Rockwall, Tx is a playmaker plain and simple. Can make all the catches in his area and has great speed to boot. Look for a Big 12 team to get this talented receiver with the Oklahoma Sooners having the early lead.

5. TE Dakota Berger 6-7 230 from Hart county, Ky is a monster of a TE. Probably one of the strongest kids in this class and not a bad receiver either. What's interesting about this kid is his ability to play on the line like another offensive lineman and then to go out and make a catch a kid at his size shouldn't make. Right now Dakota is wide open but look for the Buckeyes to make a push for this monster of a player.

Recruits Update

QB Michael Perry commits to UF week 4 after visting UF for Tennessee game. Perry was also seriously considering Michigan.

QB John Randolph - current offers LSU and Texas - scheduled vists: LSU Week 9, Texas Week 7, UF Week 13, and Tenn Week 12. Forecast: LSU with slight lead over Texas but Texas has first OV. Should end up at one of those two schools.

RB TayShawn Foster - current offers FSU, LSU, UF, and UGA - schedule vists: FSU Week 12, LSU Week 9, UF Week 7, UGA Week 11, and Miami Week 10. Forecast: Seems to be four team race between FSU, LSU, UF, and UGA. UF has first OV but if TayShawn waits till after FSU OV could end up there. Still too close to call.


WR Travis Carswell - current offers LSU, Texas, FSU, and UF - scheduled vists: LSU Week 9, Texas Week 7, FSU Week 12, Oklahoma Week 13, and Nebraska Week 10. Forecast: Three team race between LSU, Texas, and FSU all even.


TE Dakota Berger - current offers OSU, Louisville, UK, and UF - schedule vists: OSU Week 11, Louisville Week 13, Kentucky Week 9, UF Week 7, and UGA Week 12. Forecast: OSU leads UL, UK, and UF. But UF seems to be pressing and has first OV. Still too close to call.

RB T.Foster took a OV to LSU week 9 but did not commit. He has a top three of LSU, UF, and FSU. Foster has taken vists to UF Week 7, LSU Week 9, and is scheduled to take a OV to FSU Week 12 but could commit to any of these 3 schools any day now.

WR T.Carswell commits to LSU after visting LSU Week 9 for Alabama game. Carswell chose LSU over Texas and FSU.

TE D.Berger visted UK week 9 but did not commit. Has top 2 of OSU and UF. OV scheduled: OSU Week 11, UGA Week 12, and Louisville Week 13. Has taken OV to UF week 7 and UK Week 9. Could commit to OSU after Week 11 vist.
