Restoring the Greatest Show: A St. Louis Rams Franchise

Game: Madden 10
Team: St. Louis Rams
Difficulty: All-Madden
Sliders: Tweaked to make it hard.
Game Options: 6 minute quarters accelerated clock off.

I won't play preseason I will be simulating it and I will post a review of the preseason as one post summarizing the whole thing.

Couple Rules: No ridiculous trades, only sign free agents for need, not to stack certain positions to build a crazy good team, and I am not allowed to replace a starter that is rated 75 OVR through free agency, only the draft. No scouting because in real life you never know if the player will turn out good or be a bust. I will sim the first season and any mention I make to the 2009 season will be based on real life, not however the game makes it turn out.

Re: Restoring the Greatest Show: A St. Louis Rams Franchise

2009 Season Recap

The 2009 season was another tough year for the St. Louis Rams. They had a miserable 1-15 season and earned the #1 overall pick. They hope they will be able to turn this franchise around, but they have many holes and it may take a few years. One bright spot is running back S. Jackson. He has been one of the leagues best running backs and looks like he can be a star. The rest of the team is not as great. They have had struggles at almost every other position and have many needs.

New GM Jonathonb15 looks to turn around this franchise, but he knows that it will be very tough.

GM Puts Trust In Coaches

The Rams' new GM has put his trust in head coach S. Spagnuolo and has decided to keep him on staff. The Rams will keep almost the same coaching staff, but they have decided to sign Frank Bush sign on as their defensive coordinator. They hope to be able to improve under the continuity of the same coaching staff.
