Re: IT'S TIME (Chiefs Dynasty)

Game 3
Chiefs (2-0) vs Raiders (0-2)

Chiefs back to old way, get destroyed
Chiefs 7, Raiders 23

After 2 great weeks of football the Cheifs looked like last years team in a loss to the Raiders. Cassel threw 5 picks that lead to a horrible game by the Chiefs offense. And on defense, the Chiefs could not keep the passing game in check. Rookie QB Kevin Huff played well, leading the Raiders to their first victory this season.

"9 drops and 5 picks," said Haley. " Did you expect us to come out with a victory? No way. If we would have won I may have went to the NFL to have them give the win to the Raiders. We sucked out there." And if the Chiefs expect to get back to games like the first two they need to CATCH the ball. On both side of the ball even. Here is what WIlliams said about the should have been interception in the 4th quarter. "I just took my eyes off of it I guess," muttered Williams. "I should have had it. I would have taken it a long way if not to the house."

Its games like these that worry Chiefs fans, making them think their team is still one of the worst teams in the league, even with a winning record in this young season. Hopefully game 4 against the Texans will be a fresh new start.

Re: IT'S TIME (Chiefs Dynasty)

I usually write in the stats but I was 95% done with writting them and my Internet stopped responding and closed. Sooo I do not want to retype them but just know guys on the Chiefs did bad and guys on the Raiders did good, not great.

Also, Tony Hills, the LT for the Steelers, had a career ending injury. Fractured Vetebrae...go figure. Sucks for them since Max Starks is already out. down to the 3rd string LT!

AND a CHIEFS TRADE!

I Get: 5th round pick from Bills
I Give: RE A McGee (69 rating, B potential)

Sry for the sorry report buuuut I blame it on the computer!

Re: IT'S TIME (Chiefs Dynasty)

Game 4
Chiefs (2-1) vs. Texans (1-2)

Slaton, Texans demolish Chiefs
Chiefs 17, Texans 41

Looks like we are back to square one. After 2 great games on both sides of the ball, the Chiefs have played crappy ever since. "The 2nd quarter did us in," said Sharper. "We were to far behind to even try to catch up." After an extremely even 1st quarter (both teams had 81 yards), the Texans took off in the 2nd. 1st there was the fumble recovery for a TD by Reeves, then there was the 72 yard run by Slaton. After that was 2 more TD passes from Schaub. And by the end of the half the Chiefs were crying and the Texans enjoyed all the fun as they went into halftime winning by 25.

Determined to make some kind of come back, the Chiefs actually made a decent drive on the opening kickoff of the 3rd quarter. After marching down the field, Charles ran it in for an 8 yard TD. And even though the Texans only put up 2 FGs in the second half, the game had already been over for a long time.

Todays problems were turnovers once again. 3 fumbles, 3 picks. And the interceptions were not even that bad, except for one. The defense just made plays and the Chiefs offense did not. Going into the 5th game, coach Haley will be looking at his team and possibly making some changes, large or small. We will keep you up to date.

Re: IT'S TIME (Chiefs Dynasty)

Game 5
Seahawks (1-3) vs Chiefs (2-2)

And They're Back in the Game!
Seahawks 17, Chiefs 43

In a much needed win situation the Chiefs did just that. After two straight blow out losses, they buckled together and steam rolled the Seahawks when they came to town. "It feels good," said Cassel. "I feel like I played one of my best games in a long time." Which he did. Although he still threw 3 interception, (2 which were ******** plays), Cassel threw 4 TD passes, all to 4 different recievers.

But not only was the offense working, the defense was shining too. While the 2st quarter was a little rocky, the Seahawks were unable to find a rythem in the 2nd half. 2 Sacks and a 3 takeaways later, the Chiefs found a victory. "What a great win," announced chaoch Haley. "It shows what we are capable of. Its time to build off of it and move forward."

Cassel was able to set the tone for the offense by using his tightends early and often. Cottam and Fredrickson were open multiple times on blitzes and Cassel capitalized on the opportunites. Unfortunately the ground game was no where to be found. But all in all, the game was a complete success. Time to prepare for the Colts!
