Game Recap
A bitterly cold evening in Cleveland, and their fans would feel the same about their team. The Panthers had a had time at first, giving up the first touchdown and having a hard time trying to find their offense. That would change in a hurry though as the Panthers would score twice in the 2nd quarter, taking a 14-7 lead at halftime, then the game just got brutally ugly. turnover after turnover for the Browns allowed for the Panthers to get up big quickly, with 17 points in the 3rd quarter, the Panthers would lead 31-7 going into the 4th. After that, it seemed that the Browns had given up. The first Panther possesion of the quarter began at the 1 yardline after Jake Delhomme threw a pick, then the Browns were desperately going for a safety to maybe make thing interesting, sending an all-out blitz. With the Panthers prepared for that call, Matt Moore called for a quick slant to Brandon LaFell, and he caught it and went all the way in for a 99 yard touchdown. After that it seemed that the Browns had just given up. Deangelo Williams was at about 100 yards going into the 4th, then it seemed like every time he touched the ball he was going all the way for a touchdown. He finished the game with 259 yards rushing, and made his league leading total almost unobtainable by anyone else. A couple more games like this and Deangelo Williams will probably break a single season record. Matt Moore also had no trouble finding the endzone today, as he threw 4 touchdown passes himself. The Panthers would go on to score 35 points in the 4th quarter, and earn their highest point total of the year, winning 66-17. A much needed win to keep their hopes of winning the tough NFC south division in tact.

Gametime Adjustments
Well, while it looked like the game was too easy, it really wasn't, especially in the first half. I know that realistically the Panthers should dispose of the Browns easily, but to the tune of this score, probably not. I don't know what happened but I was forcing turnovers left and right in the 2nd half. In fact, I think all 6 of them were in the 2nd half, if not it was 5 of them. I'm actually a little worried about the defense setting that they might be too hard, because the Browns shouldn't have over 400 yards of offense on me, but that's what happened. The running really wasn't as easy as the 259 yards looks either. I think what happened is after I got the 99 yard touchdown pass because their defense was dumb and did engage eight when I had it at the 1 and I knew it was coming, I believe the Browns stuck their 2nd string defense in, and after that Deangelo was getting holes that my grandma could run through...and she's been dead for 20 years. For now I think this may be a good setting, but it could change. I don't look to have a game like that again. In fact I was looking to end it at 45-10 but everytime I ran the ball to kill clock Deangelo would score. What can I do?

Week 13 Preview
(8-3) Carolina Panthers @ (3-8) Seattle Seahawks

Another game that the Panthers should come out with a victory. The Seattle Seahawks are struggling to pick up some wins despite the addition of Leon Washington. Matt hasselbeck has also been hurt, dealing with a broken hand and will be out the rest of the year. As bad as the injury to Steve Smith was, at least it happened right before the Panthers were taking on the Browns and the Seahawks, because that gives Matt Moore a chance to find out how to pass to his other wide outs before the Panthers hit their big matchup in week 14 against the 2nd place Atlanta Falcons. No win is a gimmie though, as the Panthers have already fallen to the Rams from that division, so the Panthers still need to make sure they're ready to go for this one.
