getting set to do a major update today. Last night I got up through to the play-offs of Franchise year 6. Since the last update 3 teams have moved, one team being a HUGE suprise and that team finished last 2 season's in a row. On top of that, 2 of the teams that moved met in the year 5 Super Bowl Title Game.

Good times last night but what I might do is get up through the whole franchise write everything done do some short posts on them and then restart it over again and do some better write-ups and posts about stuff happening in the off-season such as retirements, re-signing, free agency signings and coaching staff signings to run it more like a real league website. This has been alot of fun and I don't want to stop doing it right now.

Hey Gang sorry about the lack of updates. Been kinda busy with some stuff here at the homestead along with working on Detroit Lions Sliders as well. I am going to reboot the season with these new sliders in hopes of getting a different direction going. Reason being is from 2015 to 2018 the CHICAGO BEARS finished dead last every year. It sucked. Also when posting my years were off so teams were coming in as the new teams a year earlier then I thought they would so starting with the next post I will be doing the following.

Posting mid-season and final regular season standings (moving team will be in bold)

Posting the results for the road to the super bowl in one post.

NFL AVOIDS LOCK OUT WITH NEW PLAYER AGREEMENT AND BUSINESS MODEL

New York - The National Football League announced today the signing of a new agreement between the players and the league for the start of the 2010-2011 season.

The new agreement also comes with a new business model as well that all owners agreed to. The newest rule being that if you finish last in the league standings that you would have to find a new home to play in a different city. You think that this would be a bad idea but with the amount of cities and states that would love to have an NFL franchise in their town so the owners of the franchises will make even more money off the moves.

The players agreed to it as well stating that they would also get a portion of the money shelled out to help them move to the new city along with their families as well.

The league is now set to launch this new version of the NFL with the Pre-Season schedule that starts on August 12th - 16th of 2010.
