Post Game Talk: Another shoot out is in the books. Early on in the game we almost witnessed the pulling of Outlaws quarterback Mike Teel who started off struggling throwing two picks in the first quarter. Teel ended the game with a career high 521 yards passing and 6 touch downs, Teel really exposed the Rams secondary and the Teel to Williams connection stayed alive. Rookie quarterback Same Bradford struggled vs the Outlaws defense he finished the game with 3 interception along with a below 40% quarterback rating. With two games down and two wins on the on books for this expansion team we caught up and spoke to the coach after the game a few comments he went on to say.

" We may have two wins but allowing 80 points in two games just isnt going to cut it. We may have been able to do that in the first two games but with the Cardinals,Texans and the Chargers coming up we are going to have to step up are defence".

It will be interesting to see how the Outlaws fair in there next three games which are vs very strong opponents and how there young quarterback Teel will fair once the opposing coaches gather more film on him.

NOTE:Please leave feedback on the new setup how do you like it any changes? if you would like one similar just ask. Also sliders have been tweaked after two games even though we have only played teams with a sub-par defense I want to make it harder for my offense.

Post Game Talk: Coach Marsh called it in his last press conference saying even though we are 2-0 we cannot allow 80+ points and that it will come back to haunt them. That it did with rookie quarterback John Skelton having a very solid season threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinals offense did just enough to win the game, while on the other side Teel started the opening drive completing his first 9 passes and then went on to miss his 14. Teel seemed that he could not get into a rhyme with the Cardinals defense always in his face or playing very good coverage on his wide outs, which lead to Teel having to throw into tight spaces at times allowing 2 interceptions. We asked the coach why Antonio Bryant was not in todays game at all.
“It’s simple if you refuse to practice and get out performed on the field by other players you won’t play. On paper he can be the best wide out we have on the team but dedication wise right now he just isn’t there”
It seems this wrath came some time during the Outlaws game vs the Rams when Bryant felt like Williams was on the field more than he was. With such a young team and a new team, it will be interesting to see how the Outlaws will bounce back vs a very solid opponent in the Texans.
