Coaching Legacy of Keith Ryan [NCAA 2011]

Head Coach Keith Ryan (Rookie)
Offensive Style Pro Style(Ground and Pound
Defensive Style 3-4/Bear/5-2 With a lot of Heavy Blitzing.
Age 26 Years Old
Personality Hot-Headed, Impatient, Intelligent

Stamford Advocate
-Richard Moss

"A Little About the Coach"
"He led the Staples High School to the Connecticut State Playoffs 4 years in a row, winning one state championship and coming close many times. This was all done with what was said as a far lesser talented team than most teams in the state. Coach Ryan was fired from his job as Head Coach after he struck a referee after a questionable call that cost his team a second state championship.

His overall record in his 4 years of being a Head Coach is 43-3. The man was brought into the league to win, and is now looking around to become a Coach at the NCAA level. With a track record like him he shouldn't have a problem finding some job in college football even if he has to start from the gutters and work himself up. We will be following his career here in ESPN Stamford so check back for updates.

"Breaking news here at ESPN Stamford, Keith Ryan the touted Stamford native has received a job to coach the Eastern Michigan Eagles and he has happily accepted. Although Eastern Michigan is the definition of the gutters of D-1A Football it is a Division 1 job non the less. Maybe I am a little be biased as a reporter since i personally know the man. But i believe he can turn this program around in one year and bring them to the MAC Championship.

His blitz happy defense has always been a force to be reckoned with, so all you college football teams watch for this mans touted Defense. His roster is a mess over there, with a severe lack of talent but the good thing about that is, he can rebuild the program his way. Give him a couple of years and I am willing to bet they are BCS Bowl Contenders.

Re: Coaching Legacy of Keith Ryan [NCAA 2011]

Keith Ryan's First Press Conference as an Eagle

Press: What are your thoughts on taking over such a struggling program.

Keith: Well first of all I am very happy to be offered this Job, any coaching Job in 1A Collegiate Football is something that i have looked forward to, and I promise all of the Eastern Michigan Faithful I will not let you down. But as for your Question, i feel that anytime a team goes 0-12 it seems like your inheriting a jumbled mess. But to me I look at it like a puzzle. I will be moving a lot of guys around the roster, in order to give me a more well rounded team.

Press: Back when you coached Staples High School, what was going through your head when you struck that referee during the State Championship, and what have you done to make sure an incident like that doesn't happen again.

Keith: Well let me guarantee everyone here that an incident like that will never happen again. I did a bunch of thinking about how i over-reacted, and i did a bunch of sessions of anger management, to help me learn how to control myself under duress and it has helped a ton.

Press: What are your current feelings on the Eagles Roster, anyone jump out at you?

Keith: Well honestly i just accepted this job and i haven't had much of a chance to look at film. The little that i did look at was needless to say... unimpressive. I am sure I will be able to find some bright spots on this team, it will just take some time.

(Last Question)

Press: How will you be handling the recruiting?

Keith: Well first off i will be doing most of the targeting of recruits by myself. My first goal is to fine a monstrous Nose Tackle to clog the middle so i can run my 3-4 with success. I will also be looking for some fast linebackers so i can get my blitzing defense under its feet. I may have to recruit lesser talented safeties and convert them to Linebacker, as i can see recruiting being a huge talent for this time, at this current moment. Thank you guys Good Night.
