Looks like Jakes is playing some solid ball right now. That is one thing I need to start doing more. Halliday has some decent speed but I tend to forget that and throw alot of stupid balls.

I have a couple throws a game that are like ... "what?... where is that ball going? who was that even to? " Once in awhile my recievers decide to not even try to catch the ball. Jakes is looking to pass first this year, and it shows. He's improved overall, but accuracy needs work yet. I'm recruiting this 3* QB (he's gonna commit soon) and I'm just wondering if he'll be better than Jakes next season. He is no where near the type of runner Jakes is, but he'll probably be the better passer.

Running All Over 'Em!
Rainey, Jakes each surpass 100 yard rushing mark in consecutive weeks

This was was expected to be close through out. The first half lived up to that. After a 74 yard TD pass from QB Kawaun Jakes to Antoinne Lightfoot, to put WKU up 7-0, Middle Tennessee State added a FG. They would then force a fumble and pick it up and run it in. (10-7, MTSU) Rainey, who fumbled, would fumble again this time on 1st & goal. Luckily for him, LG Luke Stansfield jumped on the ball for the TD. (14-10, WKU) The Hilltoppers would miss 2 field goals in the second quarter.
Halftime Score: 14-10, WKU

In the second half Jakes would score on a 72 yard TD run (21-10, WKU). The Hilltoppers wouldn't look back.

Final Score: 42-10, WKU

Jack Doyle: 5 receptions, 107 yards, 1 TD
Antoinne Lightfoot: 4 receptions, 112 yards, 1 TD
