Conference realignment has officially started tonight as Utah and Colorado join the Pac-10, Nebraska joins the Big 10, and Boise State joins the MWC. Colorado and Utah have now formed the Pac-12, while Nebraska has made a Big-12 of their own, and The Big-12 is downgraded to the Big-10. Meanwhile, Colorado has made a move, firing Head Coach Dan Hawkins. But they hired someone new hours after Hawkins was fired, West Virginia Defensive Coordinater Jeff Casteel. Casteel said after being hired " West Virginia was a great ride for me, but my dream was to be a Head Coach, and I saw that here at Colorado." The schedule, depth chart, and recruinting info will be released later today Casteel went on to say.

So sad to see Coach Hawk gone. He did well at BSU not sure why he never had success in Colorado. Then again Dirk Koetter didn't fair to well going to ASU either.
