Jason Garrett got the job in Dallas after going 3-13 under Wade Phillips, and Jim Russell, who I think is made up but he had a 25-27 record, got the job for Houston.

Interesting-- Did you do those hirings sinc eyou control all the teams? I wish they had real models for the assistants vs generic. Anywayz, nice win over the Packers. Seems like Madden called a good defensive game for you!

Yeah, controlling all 32 teams makes franchise a lot more interesting for me.

Keeps it interesting too --- kinda cool Kubiak went back to Denver. Seems like you have a good chance at a wild card this year!

Lions Win in Close Game
Detroit Gets a Late TD to Overcome Tampa

If there was a year Detroit could win the division, it would be this year. After rallying late in the 4th to overcome Tampa, the Lions move up to 1st place in the division at 2-0.

With just over 2:00 minutes left in the game, Stafford threw a 37 yard pass to Calvin Johnson to win the game. On Tampa's next drive, Josh Freeman was picked off by CB Alphonso Smith to seal the game.

Stafford continues to find his receivers, throwing for 362 yards on 28 completions and 2 TD's. Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson both had 100+ yard games, combining for a total of 315 yards.
