Spencer Ware, SO Halfback, Louisiana State - Ware used a 171 total yard performance with a TD in the SEC Championship to steal the Heisman in the final week, unseating favorite Michael Dyer (Auburn) and Ray Graham (Pittsburgh). Ware finishes the regular season with 1713 yards rushing and 12 TDs, plus 27 receptions and 5 receiving TDs. Case Keenum (Houston) finished second in Heisman voting, winning both the O'Brien (Best QB) and Maxwell (Best Player) awards. Graham took home the Walter Camp (Best Player) award.

PITTSBURGH - The complete awards list and All-American teams have been revealed, as well as the All-Conference teams. All relevant winners will be posted, including the individual awards, All-Americans, and All-Big East players (from the University of Pittsburgh).

Panthers Pull in Efficient but Unspectacular Class
LSU Claims Nation's Top Overall Class

PITTSBURGH - While the Pitt Panthers didn't make any huge splashes, they were able to pull in a solid recruiting class that addressed all pressing roster needs heading into 2012.

With the losses of some linemen, the Panthers pulled in a pair of guards and an offensive tackle for depth, while also adding a defensive lineman and linebacker to ease the blows of losses defensively.

Other notable additions include a plethora of defensive backs, looking to shore up a leaky pass defense from 2011.

The gem of the class is WPIAL high school star Rushel Shell, who chose the Panthers over many other high profile suitors. Shell looks to be a stellar backup to Ray Graham in 2012 before taking over the starting position for his sophomore year.
