Lumberjacks Finally Get A Break

It was announced yesterday on campus at SFA in Nacogdoches, TX that the school has been invited to participate in the WAC. Both the WAC & SFA are extremely happy about this. Head Coach JD Harper spoke to the media yesterday and expects this team to compete from Day 1. "We have a lot of talent to come in right away and win some games. I expect good things from this squad."

Stephen F Austin is currently ranked #116 to start off the season.

2010:
- 9-3 Overall, 6-1 Southland
- Final Ranking: #10 by PhilSteele
- Offense: 442 YPG, 37.4 PPG
- Defense: 337 YPG, 19.5 PPG

2011:
- 8 Returning Offensive Starters, 6 Defensive Starters, and 2 Special Teams Starter
- Ranked preseason #116 by Preseason AP Poll
