The Take-over of Florida... A Florida State Seminoles Dynasty

Florida State is coming off a 10-4 season with first year coach, Jimbo Fisher. Former coach Bobby Bowden was 304-97-4 in his 34 years coaching at Florida State, including two national championships (1993 & 1999). The question some Noles fans have is, can Jimbo be as good or better then Bobby? A 10-4 season, along with a trip to the ACC Championship game (lost to Virginia Tech) and a 26-17 win in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against a good South Carolina team have fans excited.

The Seminoles have been to a bowl game 29 straight seasons. Since joining the ACC in 1992, they have won 12 conference championships. From 1987 and 2000, Florida State finished the season in the top 5 every year and had a record of 152-19-1.

Former FSU player in the College Hall of Fame are:
Ron Sellers (WR), Fred Biletnikoff (WR), Darrell Mudra (Coach), Bobby Bowden (Coach), Charlie Ward (QB), Ron Simmons (NG), Deion Sanders (DB).

Retired jersey numbers are:
#2, Deion Sanders

#16, Chris Weinke
#17, Charlie Ward
#25, Fred Biletnikoff
