Thank you. I am hoping for either a big turn around to make the playoffs or to tank the season to get a good draft pick lol.

Re: Bear Down Chicago

BEARS RALLY TO STUN LIONS
WIN STREAK NOW AT 3

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
Dec 2, 20121ST2ND3RD4THSCORE
Chicago Bears (5-6)01031023
Detroit Lions (4-7)7100017

This was a hard fought game between two teams trying to find their groove. The Lions would jump out to a 7-0 lead in the first when Stafford connected with Burleson for a touchdown. Detroit would then tack on a field goal early in the second, after a costly Jay Cutler interception. The Bears would fight back though as backup running back, Leon Washington, would break free for a 38 yard touchdown run. The Lions would answer back with a touchdown of their own though as Stafford found Toon in the endzone. That scored pushed the lead to 17-7 with only 30 seconds to go. Instead of electing to kneel on the ball, Chicago found some luck as Jay Cutler and Jerome Simpson would hook up for a 54 yard catch. That catch would set up a Robbie Gould 43 yard field goal as time expired.

"That was the turning point in the game for us because now instead of being down 10 at the half, we are only down 7."- Lovie Smith

The third quarter was a defensive struggle as the lone score was a 40 yard field goal by Robbie Gould. The fourth quarter was more of the same except it was Chicago's defense that stepped up big time. DRC would come up huge for Chicago as he would sack Stafford on 3rd and 4 from midfield. However the real hero for Chicago was Peanut Tillman. With Detroit inside the 10, Tillman would out jump Burleson and pick off Stafford's pass in the endzone. The Bears would go on to score the go ahead touchdown as Forte found the endzone from 1 yard out. Robbie Gould would tack on a 51 yard field goal late in the game.

"They tried the jump ball to Burleson in the first quarter and scored so I was hoping they would try it again. I just in better position and was able to haul it in." -Charles Tillman on his game saving interception in the endzone.

Top Passer: Matthew Stafford- 123.0 rating, 15-19 for 197, 2 TDS, 1 int
Top Rusher: MATT FORTE- 21 carries for 106 yards and 1 TD
Top Receiver: Nate Burleson- 5 catches for 87 yards and 1 TD
Top Defender: CHARLES TILLMAN- 7 tackles, 3 PD, 1 INT

Game Note: Calvin Johnson did not play due to injury
