This probably won't be quite the same as my Astros one, this will be more like PokerPlaya's franchise in that the storylines are more on the field than off. I have more than enough story to create as is, so I'm going to try and avoid making it harder on myself by adding another story to the mix lol. Anyways, I probably won't be getting the game tomorrow since I'm broke as **** but Wednesday/Thursday is a good guess as to when I'll be able to start this.

But that reminds me, I forgot to say that people may post...so yeah, you all may post now.

Alright guys! Turns out that because of trade-in credit I had at gamestop and the extra 30% trade-in credit towards Madden thing, that I could buy Madden brand new...for $12. Worth it. Anyways, I've got some stuff to start posting...one thing to note here. For season 1 and maybe 2, please excuse my sliders and my W/L record.

I'm trying to find a good competitive set and the two games I've played so far have been opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of close or not. Thanks for understanding! But I will get to updating stuff and getting towards posting game results! With that said, go Jags!

Khan to Mularkey: "Shape up or get out!" Mularkey to Khan "Eff off, I'm out."

Jacksonville,FL-- Blogger Darren Johnson here in Jacksonville where the news is that new head coach Mike Mularkey
has resigned from the head coach spot due to issues with Owner Shad Khan and his overall direction. Mularkey was quoted as saying, "Shad is a good guy...but me and him DO NOT see eye to eye and things just wouldn't have worked here. Best of luck to the Jags this season though."

Who will be Mularkey's replacement? As per Shad Khan's press conference not even moments ago, that would be 22 year old Brandon Gillespie. Gillespie is known as an excellent X's and O's guy from his time as the offensive coordinator of Eastern Michigan University.
His teams never finished worse than 3rd in the NCAA in rushing and his passing attack was potent when he had weapons to work with. Gillespie is known as a running coach by trade, but he is a quarterback guru and perhaps he could work his magic on 2nd year QB Blaine Gabbert. Gillespie is expected to run a 4-3 defense and have a balanced offensive attack which leans towards the run.

That's all I have for now, if anything new comes up I will be sure to blog it immediately.

Re: Rainy Times at Jacksonville High: A Jaguars CCM (Madden 13)

Gillespie's First Notable Action as HC: Henne named Starter for Week 1

After a 2-2 preseason for Jacksonville, Quarterback Chad Henne was named the starter of the Jaguars. He had a modest preseason completing 65% of his passes and throwing for 3 TDs to 1 INT. He beats out 2nd year man Blaine Gabbert
for the job. Gillespie was quick to defend Blaine Gabbert as the future of the team, with Henne being the best choice for this season. "Chad is my guy this year, Blaine has a little developing to do but he has all the talent to do it. Henne gives us the best chance to win this year, but that DOESN'T mean that I have lost faith in Blaine."

Bold move from the 1st year head coach to go with the veteran over the high draft pick from a year ago. Here's the announced depth chart for the Jags in the 2012 season (note: check the roster section on page 1 to see the complete 2012 season roster.)
