Alright hey guys, so I'm starting up an online CCM with the Washington Redskins and I'm gonna update it here and there. I will be busy the following 3 weeks cause it's the end of the school year, but I'll try to get a game in when I can. You will see why it's called The New Generation in later posts. I am going to update the past 3 weeks I have played. I'm currently on Week 4. I don't play pre-season but I do cut players and all that. Follow along as I start my journey with the Redskins.
It was all about the Saints offense this week as Darren Sproles had 3 total touchdowns and Marques Colston had over 200 yards receiving with a touchdown as well. It looks like the bounty scandal has not phased them at all coming into the season. We're excited that RG3 shows he can throw, but his receivers showed that they cannot catch as they kept dropping balls all game. We're not sure if the Redskins' defense is that bad or if the Saints' offense is that good. We know how Mike Shanahan works, and it seems as if the run game was shut down. He could just change running backs next week as he always gives it to the guy with the hot hand. We will see next week as the Redskins stay on the road to face the St. Louis Rams.
What an exciting game. It came down to an overtime punt return for a touchdown by Brandon Banks. Although RG3 didn't do a good job passing the ball, he made up for it running the ball getting over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. They completely shut down the run game this time, holding Steven Jackson to just under 3 yards per carry. Once again Alfred Morris did not have much of a game. We got a hold of Shanahan about Morris and he told us, "We'll see what happens in practice. The kid has talent, he showed it in the preseason. We just have to wait until practice." This could be a sign that he might not start next week so we'll see what happens. Next week the Redskins finally come home to face the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Redskins came to play today and demolished the Bengals only holding them to 3 field goals. Andy Dalton just could not answer the Redskins defense throwing 3 interceptions. RG3 picked them apart and got the easy win at home. Royster ended up starting this game and did decently well and will continue to have the hot hand. Big news has come out this week as the Redskins have been making many trades to get 1st round picks. The GM has stated that, "We want amazing, young talent to turn this football team into one of the best organizations in a long time. This team will be the New Generation of the NFL." Well it sure seems like it from everything they've traded. Here is everything they traded: 2013 3rd, 4th, 5th round pick, 2014 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th round pick, Fred Davis and Trent Williams. They have received 2013 1st round picks from the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. They also received LT D'Anthony Batiste from the Cardinals. That is a lot to give up, especially Trent Williams as he is young and a great LT. The reason for trading him was based on off-field issues though. Next week we will see the Redskins back on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Re: The New Generation | A Washington Redskins CCM (Madden NFL 13)
I see you're not playing well with Morris. I can't seem to get good games with power backs either. Steven Jackson could barely get passed the line while other 60-70 rated backs I had were getting 3-5YPC.
