Panthers slide past Seahawks 24-16


The Carolina Panthers opened up at home this season vs the Seahawks and boy did they look impressive.

Cam Newton completed 65% percent of his passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns, both touchdowns went to Steve Smith.

RB Johnathan Stewart collected 77 yards on 18 attempts and collected a touchdown

Star LB Luke Kuechly collected 8 tackles but no sacks

Charles Johnson, Mike Mitchell, and Thomas Davis collected a sack each.

This will be the last home opener the Panthers have in the Bank of America Stadium because new owner Adrian Shepard shall be moving them to a new stadium set to be finished building by the 2014-2015 Season.

Just wanted to say I am glad you went with the Panthers.. I use to play Madden against your starting LT (Jordan Gross) I was one of his youth leaders at the church his family attended in Fruitland Idaho. My best friend and I flew down to Utah for his Senior Day game vs BYU and then down to San Francisco to watch him play the 49's his rookie season. He still has a off-season house in Fruitland just down the road from my parents and comes and puts on a lineman camp at our old high school.

I am curious to see if he retires at the end of the year on the game, because he is talking about it in real life.

"No I am not staying in the Bank of America stadium." Adrian said, which seemed like a lot of times in this meeting between himself and Bank of America.

"Why not?" The representative asked.

"Because, you know your reputation, a family in a lawsuit with you who had the jury on their side just died via shooting a few days ago, if that isn't suspicious I do not know what is."

"HAPPY?!?!?! YOU CALL PEOPLE DYING A HAPPY ACCIDENT?" shouted Shepard, rising out of his seat in the conference room and advancing on the representative.

Before he knew it, he was throwing his fist into the man's stomach, he then elbowed him in the nose while he was bent over and sent his elbow flying into the small of the man's back, effectively breaking his nose and giving him a real bad backache for a while.

"Get the **** out." Shepard spat

The representative got up off of the ground and left, fearing another beating.
