Oakland, CA. (AP) -- Starring at 0-4 an and down 38-17 in the 4th, most teams would give up and call it a day. But the Raiders aren't one of those teams. The Raiders scored 24 unanswered points to beat the Redskins 41-38 to get their first win of the season.

The Raiders got off the a quick start with Denarius Moore taking the opening kickoff 96 yards down to the 4 yard line but had to settle for 3 points. On their next drive Matt McGloin found Rod Streater for a 3 yard touchdown to go up 10-0 after the first quarter.

RG3 and company answered back scoring 16 straight points. Alfred Morris found paydirt on a 8 yard run to give the Skins their first points of the game. The Redskins got the ball right back after picking off McGloin but only was able to turn the turnover into a Kai Forbath 30 yard field goal. Griffin III got into the action and got a 2 yard touchdown run on a read option play putting the Redskins up 16-10 going into halftime.

"Our spirits stayed up even though we gave up the lead and got down big" said Coach Allen.

Janikowski hits the game winning FG.
"Love the fight we showed out there today."

The Skins stayed in control throughout the 3rd with RG3 and Fred Davis hooking up on a 13 yard touchdown play. Oakland kept pace with fullback Marcel Reece running in his first td of the year on a 1 yard run. The Skins again answered with a Santana Moss 8 yard strike to go up 31-17 heading into the 4th.

Fans started to leave the stadium after RG3 hit Moss with a big 68 yard bomb to go up 38-17 early in the 4th. Things were looking dim until the UDFA took over.

McGloin, who was on the practice squad 2 weeks ago, helped lead the comeback with a passing and rushing touchdown in the 4th quarter. McGloin found rookie Mychal Rivera on a 30 yard touchdown pass and ran for another to pull the Raiders within 7 points. The defense stepped up on the Redskins next drive and got a pick six on RG3 to tie the ball game up at 38-38. The raiders forced another 3 and out and was able to ground and pound the ball and kick the game winning field goal with 2 seconds left.

Re: A New Era Of Excellence : Oakland Raiders Franchise Madden 25

Congrats on getting your 1st "W".. Looks like the Eagles, Packers, Ravens and the Chicago Bulls are now the only win less teams.

(Not sure if you noticed you typed Bulls in the Standings

Looks like Foster is doing well without you running the sticks as well and I am happy to see that the Seahawks were at least able to duplicate real life through 4 weeks.
