Patriots raise the Super Bowl Banner(Pats Season Preview)
Do you feel it in the air? Opening Night for the New England Patriots as they face "America's Team" and Tony Romo. The one question that faces the defending champs is can they do it without Brady? Ryan Mallet will be starting tonight and we always have Tebow on the bench as well as former UConn Husky: Dan Orlovsky. When asked of about why he traded his 2015 5th Round pick to Minnesota for Tebow, Jacobs said he had faith in Tebow and believed if they team needed a spark Tim would be just the one to light it.
Another major factor is how will the defense do with the lose of Aqib Talib (now with the Oakland Raiders-who vist New England in Week 13). "i have faith in my team, I went out and brought back Brandon Merriweather off of free agency and believe we have a tough d all around. If we can get past the Jets,Bills and Dolphins we are sure to have a good season.
Looking at the Pats schedule, you'll notice a lot of Primetime games not just including their home opener, the Pats will be on primetime five times this season. Both match-ups with the Buffalo Bills(Week 10 on NBC & Week 14 on ESPN) as well as an NFC East Vs AFC East match-up with RG3 and The Redskins on Sunday Night on Week 5. Following the bye week, The Pats will face Chip Kelly's Eagles.
