Re: A Different Look: The Dual Careers of Nick Orkedi and Ryan Hermasillo

Febuary 1st, 2015- Nick Orkedi

So, I went to Nia's house at 3, and she showed me around even though I already knew the place. Then she said she wanted to show me her new bed aaaaannnnnddddd you know the rest.

It was about 4 when a man came up to me with a pistol to my head.

Quote:
Man: What are you doing here? No one told me you were coming, and then you have intercourse with my daughter!
Nick: Who are you?
Nia: That's.....my dad.
Nick: Oh.
Nia's Dad: I don't care!!! You are only a freshman in high school Nia!!!!(Slaps Nia in the face)
Nick: It was safe, nothing came off...
Nia's DadInterrupts Nick) Don't you "It was safe" with me! Look, I'm going to press charges here, and I'm getting a restraining order against you!! All you've done is hurt Nia's life, my life, and my wife's life. Get out now before I shoot you!!!!
All I can say is as I ran out as fast as I could, I heard a lot of screaming from what sounded like Nia. I know I had made a huge mistake here, and there was nothing I could do about it now. I went to my brother Louis' house to calm down and reflect on what I just did. Then, surprisingly, I got a text back from Nia. It wasn't good.

Quote:
Nia: My dad is transferring me to Lincoln for next year, so this will be our last year together.
Welp, the relationship with Nia was about over. I didn't respond to the text as I couldn't think of what to say.

But soon my life would change forever when I got a call later that night from the University of

To be continued.....(Trying to make as good of cliffhangers as BraedenG33 lol)

Febuary 6th, 2015 - Ryan Hermasillo

I was just sitting at home when I got a notification from Apple on my phone. It said this:

Quote:
The new iPhone 7 will be released at the end of March, stay tuned!
I desperately waited for Skyler to text me what she was doing, but I decided to turn on the TV to ESPN to get my mind off of that.

Quote:
Trey Wingo: And we are here for the sight of Super Bowl 49 between the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks. Day 2 of Media Days has just concluded, here was Joe Flacco at the podium:

Reporter One: Joe, how does it feel to have a chance to win your 3rd straight Super Bowl?

Joe: Well, you know, I've been through this twice before and so has this team, so we are very ready.

Reporter Two: Joe, you knocked off Peyton Manning in the playoffs for the second straight year in the Conference Championship, third time in your career. How does it feel beating a future hall of famer?

Joe: Well, I've always looked up to Peyton, and its cool to beat him again, he's one of the best.
I thought to myself, man, I wish the Lions had a shot. But then I quickly remembered they traded Matthew Stafford and our starting QB is Aaron Murray.

Finally I got a text back from Skyler, but it wasn't good.

Quote:
OMG!!!! Ryan, please come!!! My house is on FIRE!!!
I jumped up and got on my bike as fast as I could. Unfourtunately, someone was going to die.

Re: A Different Look: The Dual Careers of Nick Orkedi and Ryan Hermasillo

Febuary 6th, 2015 - Ryan Hermasillo

I got right on my bike and pedaled as fast as I could. Skyler's house was about 10 miles away, so I had a long ways to go.

As I got there, I saw Sklyer on the sidewalk with her head in her hands, crying.

Quote:
Me: Are you ok?
Skyler(Sobbing): No. My dad was in there. He's now over there(points to ambulance).
*I run to the ambulance*
Me: Where is he?
Ambulance Guy: He's in the ambulance, but he's just about dead. He has third degree burns all over his body.
*I run back to Skyler*
Me: Skyler, I'm sorry I couldn't get here earlier.
Skyler: Its not your fault, Ryan.(Proceeds to hug me)
Well, the situation was resolved, good or bad. We had a cop take us to my house, where we watched ESPN. She was still crying, but she looked as hot as ever. So, I started a conversation.

Quote:
Me: Hey, I was thinking, do you want to come to my party on Sunday?
Sky(New Abbreviation): Sure. Who will be there?
Ryan: Some of my bros. We will be watching the Super Bowl.
Sky: Ok.
Then, Sky's mom picked her up. I was worried for her, but glad that she would be coming to my party.
