Re: Here we go again... A Seahawks Dynasty?

Very nice effort from him. Actually showed better than Wilson did the first two games.

Seahawks send league spinning with Harvin trade

In a deal that sent shockwaves throughout the NFL this week the Seattle Seahawks dealt explosive WR Percy Harvin to the New York Jets for a third round pick in the upcoming draft. Fans were stunned by the deal, as it's rare to see a contending team deal such a valuable asset. Shortly after the deal surfaced, rumors of locker room discontent and anger management issues began to surface about the wide out, and perhaps the issues behind the scenes were more than the Seahawks were willing to deal with. Whatever the case the Seahawks already shaky receiving corps took a big hit with this deal, and now guys like Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse will need to step up and be starters for this team, while the rookies Paul Richardson, and Kevin Norwood will now get their time to shine.

Re: Here we go again... A Seahawks Dynasty?

The Seattle Seahawks head into their bye week undefeated at 3-0, and while that is definitely a plus, this team is dealing with a myriad of things that are putting their season in peril. Russell Wilson is still a few weeks away from returning from his elbow injury, and when he gets back he will have a depleted receiving corps to throw because of the Percy Harvin deal. Speaking of the Harvin deal, what effect will this have on the team going forward? Reports came out that he was beginning to wear thin in the locker room, but many of the receivers now former teammates were taking to twitter immediately following the trade to voice their shock, and some sadness that their teammate was now gone. Was Harvin really as much of a problem as the media is now trying to make him out to be? Why did we not hear anything about Harvin's locker room "issues" for his entire tenure in Seattle until after he was out the door? These are questions that no doubt people will be asking, and the Seahawks have to not let it be a distraction for them as they continue to push towards another playoff run.
