Re: Present. Future. Forever | DoubleRussia's Oakland Raiders Dynasty
RAIDERS DOMINATE BRONCOS, SEND PEYTON AND CO HOME WITH A SCORE OF 49-23
OAKLAND, CALIF -- All season long, Derek Carr has been trying to prove he is the Raiders future at QB, after a performance like this vs Peyton "The Sheriff" Manning, Carr is ready to assume the mantle of the best QB in the AFC West. Carr is having a FANTASTIC season, he leads the NFL in touchdown passes, with having 24 recorded, the #2 leader is Drew Brees with 17. He is #2 in the NFL with passing yards, having 2,628 slotted on the season, second only to Drew Brees. Carr also has had his fair share of mistakes, being the #2 leader in the NFL with interceptions....the leader is....you guessed it. Drew Brees. The Raiders have been playing great football this season and you can definitely attribute that to the entrance of HC John Raines. Raines's system has highlighted the Raiders two important rookies, Carr and Mack. Mack has 61 tackles, 16 sacks, and 24 tackles for a loss. Mack is on pace to at the very least, tie the sack record this season.
The Raiders however did suffer some unfortunate news this week as WR Andre Holmes will miss the rest of the regular season with a broken collarbone. The Raiders will have to find a new red-zone target, as the 6'4" wideout had caught seven TDs this season. Holmes suffered the injury after a big hit from Von Miller. Holmes will return from injury in the wildcard round. if Raiders fans want to see their own Megatron return from injury, they will have to hope that, barring a colossal breakdown, that Oakland makes the playoffs this year
