Preseason MVPs for Tech

Offense-Justin Thomas

Only a sophomore, Thomas is an elite runner. Recruited as a DB by Nick Saban, Thomas has two qualities you need in the Tech offense, speed and toughness.

Defense- Quayshawn Nealy

You want to find a consistent linebacker? Look no further than senior leader Quayshawn Nealy. He is a very talented tackler with not too shabby range. Through 3 years, Nealy has nearly 200 total tackles and 6 INTs.

Have fun with the option. I'm going on a college tour to GT in October. I can't wait. If I like the school, I'll really want to go there. In the meantime, I'll be following.

Georgia Tech Romps South Alabama

The offense clicked even when Justin Thomas went down with an injury. Whether it was on offense, defense or even kick returns, Georgia Tech was firing on all cylinders against the Jaguars. Thomas threw twice for TDs which I bet no one was expecting, the option game was very strong, the defense was all over the place and Jamal Golden returned some impressive kick returns. Boy do I feel bad for Brandon Bridge. Kid has no o-line and because of that he took around 8 big hits in the game. Thomas came out of the game in the third but the offense was just as good. Tim Byerly, who in my opinion is not that good, came in for Justin Thomas and ran wild over the South Alabama defense. The one thing that impressed me a little was South Alabama scored 3 times. Good warm up for the boys.

Re: The Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech. The Option Dynasty

Great to see GT dominate in their opening game, even if it did come at the cost of an injury. Hopefully it's nothing serious! Can't wait to see how they play once the competition gets more challenging!

Also, a little shocked to see Clemson get smacked around in Death Valley! For a team who aspires to be a national contender, their season may already have dissolved before their eyes in their own house... Especially if they can't get it done against FSU later in the season

Great update! Definitely shaping up to be a fun season!
