San Jose State Picks Up First Commitments Of The Year

Juco wide receiver Wade Gardner seems to be the standout of this early class. He may only have 2 years of scholarships remaining but can he catch a ball. He is extremely fast off of the line and his route running is impeccable. San Jose also picked up a very good kicker in Cody Irby. He comes out of Claremont, CA. The last pickup was big boy Donald Cooper. He weighs in at 304 lbs and 6'4''. His blocking is solid with great acceleration. Watch for all 3 of these guys to be competing for starting positions next spring.
