Re: Righting The Ship - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Madden 16)

One Win Preseason Yields Little Positives

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2015 Schedule
DATEOPPONENTRESULT
Aug 15at Minnesota VikingsLost, 24-10
Aug 24vs Cincinatti BengalsLost, 31-14
Aug 29vs Cleveland BrownsWon, 34-10
Sep 3at Miami DolphinsLost, 14-10

The 2015 season was already set to have a ton of questions after finishing last year with a 2-14 mark. This would lead to a first round pick though and as the team selected Jameis Winston, more questions would come into play in regards to questionable activity involving Winston while at Florida State. Jameis would put on a show early in his first NFL game as he'd complete 84% of his passes and give a lot of hope to fans. That trend wouldn't continue though as he'd fall to 42% completion in his second game.

Overall the Bucs proved to be extremely inconsistent on offense as their offensive line seemed to give up a lot of pressure and an underwhelming receiving core proved to give little help to Winston or McCown. The only real positive on the offensive side of the ball is that Doug Martin and Bobby Rainey both seemed to be clicking in basically every game. It could be something Tampa Bay will have have to lean on during the year as we try to figure the passing out.

The defense seemed to be another big disappointment all preseason as we gave up a ton of passing yards and big play after big play. We managed to do a decent job stopping the run with Lavonte David and the rest of the linebacking core, but if we continue to have a terrible pass rush then I feel we'll be in trouble the entire year. Also I'm not extremely solid with our FS situation

Trade Rumors: There have been rumors swirling that Tampa Bay may be considering trading William Gholston or Clinton McDonald for Baltimore's Marlon Brown or Chicago's Marquess Wilson to bolster their dismal receiving core.

Thanks, it'll definitely get better in that department as well.....sick today/this weekend but wanted to get some things up other than just the setup stuff

As this goes graphics will be refined and evolved, but that's only natural :-)
