Gresham is a great fit for our offense, really need to have a receiving threat in the middle with Fitz, felt like I had to lock him up.

Rams game was about what you would expect.

CARDINALS OVERPOWER RAMS
PALMER TOSSES FIVE TOUCHDOWS IN WIN

Glendale, Arizona - Carson Palmer finally looked like Carson Palmer as the Cardinals cruised to a 35-21 win over the Rams in a game that wasn't as close as the scoreboard indicated.

Jared Goff played very well, completing 39 of 55 pass attempts for 371 yards and a score as the Rams were forced to all but abandon their running game with Benny Cunningham listed as the top back on the day. The Rams gained just 47 yards on the ground in the loss.

Arizona rolled up 133 yards on the ground and 255 through the air, while running just 51 plays in the game.

David Johnson was one again a workhorse, picking up 112 yards on 20 carries.

Palmer threw five touchdown passes one to Larry Fitzgerald and two each to John Brown and David Johnson.

Los Angeles actually scored first with a 19 yard Greg Zuerlein field goal that was set up by a 59 yard Goff completion to Kenny Britt.

Arizona answered with a five yard Palmer to Brown touchdown before the end of the first quarter. Catanzaro missed the kick.

Zuerlein added another field goal in the second quarter, sandwiched between a Palmer to Fitzgerald touchdown pass and a Palmer to David Johnson touchdown pass. Arizona led 19-6 at the break.

John Brown caught a pass on a drag route from Palmer and took it 60 yards for a score early in the second half. Los Angeles was able to put the ball in the endzone for the first time a few minutes later when Goff found tight end Owen Daniels for a four yard score. A 42 yard Catanzaro field goal made it 28-13 after three quarters.

David Johnson took a screen pass 29 yards to the house midway through the fourth quarter to make it 35-13 Cardinals.

Late in the game Benny Cunningham added a touchdown run for the Rams and the two point conversion made the final score 35-21 Arizona.

The Cardinals improve to 4-0 and will travel to face the 49ers on Thursday night.
