WEEK 3:

I *really* like this draft storyline.. a DT who used to play rugby.. sounds like my kinda physical terror!!

too bad DT is not on my list of positions to fill

Week 5:

This has got to be a joke.. it has to be.. a Power RB is always a foundation piece for my teams but this guy.. a FB.. running for 300+yds.. I don't know what to make of it. I really don't..

FB's don't really translate well to the HB position..

Week 6

6 weeks into the season and so far the draft storylines haven't been playing out to my interests.. was hoping there'd be a monster LB or a crazy RB.. at the rate my season is going I'm definitely going to get a high draft pick which in itself is a great thing

DE M. Wilkerson is a cornerstone for my franchise.. he's a stud on the line and I decided to re-sign him mid-season and secure him for the long haul I definitely won't have to worry about a DE for some time to come!

With my coaching and investments training him.. he will definitely become even more of a monster on the line. Plus he's got that attitude I desire.. that mean streak.. he's a baaaad man!

Week 15

Not gonna lie.. I had this guy scouted. He is a physical freak.. his Consistency however, is way down.. this draft storyline makes me sad because I have him as my #1 Power RB prospect.. now? I am not so sure if I should pick a RB since I also need a QB franchise pick.. hmm, decisions decisions..

END OF SEASON M V P

what needs to be said about QB Aaron Rodgers? He's simply that good.. definitely a HOF'er

End of Season: Retirees

This is bittersweet.. I *hate* Brady.. I do.. but respect him enough cuz he's a winner. This retirement blindsided me.. as I'm establishing my team.. it would've been nice to go head to head against the Tom Brady led Patriots but it wasn't meant to be..

TE Jason Witten and TE Antonio Gates have been 2 of the best TE's this league has ever seen. Definitely the safety nets for their QB's. Glues for mitts and throwback reliable.. Definitely going to miss having these 2 in the league.

RB Adrian Peterson.. not sure why he retired. Didn't even know he was of retirement age.. but it is what it is. Definitely one of the best RB's in the league and I wonder if it's father time or if he's just tired of the daily grind of the game.. hmm

UP NEXT: Free Agency - Jets going to be playing bigtime!

Re: Green means Mean! New York Jets - Coach Mode M17

This past season was abysmal. The foundations of this game, the Offensive Line was exactly that -- offensive! I was very conscious re-signing players and made sure I had enough funds to be a player in the upcoming Free Agency and play I did!!

He was the top-rated Free Agent and plenty of teams had bidded for him.. I threw him the most I could a $17mil 4 year contract with nearly $8mil signing bonus and sure enough.. I have solidified my RG for years to come!

most people simply think the draft is the end-all be-all but really, free agency is a tool to build one's team! definitely worthy to fish in the free agent market provided one's finances can cover it of course.. NY Jets fans are certainly happy

My next target was another free agent lineman.. he's decent and should give me ample time to draft linemen of my own in the upcoming years to take over

The next 2 signee's are just insurance players.. 1 year contracts which will help my team no matter what! They may not start but can definitely help in the rotation

Coming Next: THE NFL DRAFT
