Season preparations and Scouting outlook

To make maximum roster, I had to cut Antone Exum, Justin Trattou, and Jeff Baca. All three were solid depth players but had to be cut.



Current top 5 scouting focuses

LBs. Greenway is the only aging one, but right now the players aren't quite stars. If they can develop, then we may look elsewhere in the draft, but right now, looking for LBs is a safe scout.

CBs. Captain and Xavier's are solid, but Cox is in a contract year and good depth here would be a solid pick.

SSs. Harrison Smith is one of the NFL's best at the FS position. He needs someone opposite him.

WRs. Jennings is aging, Simpson is in a contract year and I'm not sure if Patterson will develop. If Simpson produces and Patterson becomes a sensible number 2, then we may not need to take a WR.

Oline with Focus on C. We have great young players on our line but depth is most important here and both centers are aging. So a day 1 pick on that may be required.
