When I approached the fantasy draft I focused on QB and offensive line. In Madden, you must have a good offensive line, especially on All-Madden difficulty.
2016-2017 Oakland Raiders Offense
QBS:
Dak Prescott: 85 OVR
Cody Kessler: 74 OVR
RBS:
Derrick Henry: 81 OVR
Dion Lewis: 81 OVR
Chris Polk: 73 OVR
FB:
Aaron Ripkowski: 82 OVR
WRS:
Tyrell Williams: 80 OVR
Robbie Anderson: 75 OVR
Paul Richardson: 75 OVR
Rashard Greene: 73 OVR
TES:
Delanie Walker: 94 OVR
Jesse James: 78 OVR
LT: Austin Shepherd: 68 OVR
LG: Kelechi Osemele: 90 OVR
C: Travis Frederick: 92 OVR
RG: Zach Martin: 95 OVR
RT: Lane Johnson: 88 OVR
Analysis: I was really excited about my draft on this side of the ball. I focus primarily on the run so the WRs weren't a high priority. Scooping James and Walker was ideal to have two serviceable TE's to pick up the weight of the less than stellar wide receiver core. Lewis & Henry are polar opposites so will be used in different roles. My first pick had to be a QB and I settled for Dak due to his speed and upside.
2016- 2017 Oakland Raiders Defense
NT: Danny Shelton: 81 OVR
RDE: Greg Hardy: 79 OVR
LDE: Ra'Shede Hageman: 74 OVR
ROLB: Shea McClellin: 76 OVR
MLB: Christian Kirksey: 84 OVR
MLB: Deone Bucannon: 79 OVR
LOLB: Kevin Dodd: 76 OVR
CBS:
Adam "Pacman" Jones: 79 OVR
Buster Skrine: 74 OVR
Xavien Howard: 72 OVR
Justin Coleman: 70 OVR
FS: Corey Moore: 73 OVR
SS: Kam Chancellor: 95 OVR
K: Justin Tucker: 87 OVR
P: Marquette King: 85 OVR
Analysis: When I decided to go heavy on the offense I knew my defense would suffer. Besides Chancellor and Kirksey the rest of the defense are average at best but I do have a decent number of veterans and young guns so it will improve. Special teams, I went with the top 2 guys. Kick and Punt returner right now is Adam Jones but I may change Dion Lewis.
