Also does switching it up fit the offense. Or does Coach Davis just want to keep slinging it 50 times a game with a Freshman QB?
I wanted to run an air raid scheme this season for extra challenge and fun. I've never run that scheme in video game football. OC Kenny Edenfield is an air raid guy and McAlary isn't a runner. Ideally our split would be about 2:1 pass to run (40-50 passes and 20-25 runs). Obviously we need production from those runs. We did better this game. Two of those picks were completely on me forcing it deep down the sidelines. The first two games I was much more careful with the ball and I need to go back to that. I definitely forced it in the past two games and need to cut back on those throws and let the air raid scheme get guys open. None of the top 3 RBs have asserted themselves as the clear starter so we need someone to do that. This is a very long way of saying yes I want more run production but we're still looking to throw it 40+ times a game but we need to cut back on picks.

Thanks for another post!

Cajuns land first commit, pull plug on five others
By Bill Connelly

Clay Shoemake
WR #278 * JUCO
5'11" 185
Newnan, Georgia
ASA Miami

Clay possesses decent speed and quickness and has solid hands. He received no FBS or FCS offers after playing at East Cowetta High in Sharpsburg, Georgia and elected to attend ASA Miami where he has played runningback, slot receiver and punt returner. He visited Louisiana for the game against Louisiana-Monroe and committed the next day.

Shoemake had South Carolina, Boise State and Michigan State rounding out his top four.

Louisiana has also stopped pursuing a number of recruits.

Greg DeAngelis OLB #11 **** Iuka, MS - Soft verbal to Missouri, had Louisiana as medium interest behind Missouri

Lou Jones MLB #22 *** Webster Groves, MO - Soft verbal to Western Michigan. Had Louisiana as low interest behind Western Michigan and Oregon State.

Kevin Burks TE #7 **** Port Lavaca, TX - Verbal to Kansas State. Louisiana listed second with medium interest.

Adam Moore TE #54 *** Winnefield, LA - Verbal to Rice. Louisiana was second listed as medium interest.

Stephen O'Connor G #97 ** Bastrop, LA - Soft verbal to Houston, Louisiana was #2, high interest. Declined visit after visiting Houston.

The poor Huskies, nothing every seems to go right for them in the game or in real life! I mean look at their team, a few holes in places but pretty solid, especially at QB And RB but still absolutely terrible and 0-3, must have been that loss to Central Michigan last year that's got them so downtrodden.

I know they made the American Conference last season but 0-4 here they come!

With that O-Line I think I would just rush 7 all day and with Safeties like that, I would be going deep all day too or look to let your TE abuse them

It is funny how the sim engine does that with some schools seemingly ignoring the ratings. They could give us trouble with their QB/RB/TE and the corners, I'll have to look for the mismatches when we bring out 4 and 5 WRs.
