Hold on, is that a picture of Iker Casillas? And congrats on a solid start!

Indeed it is, one of the greatest keeper ever! Has been a solid start, 4 wins was the aim as they went 3-9 in real life that year!

Injury Blow to incoming 4 star recruit - FS Jose Callejon

Lobos 4 star man tears ACL, will miss rest of his senior year

20th October, 2013
Clayton, NM: A potential huge blow for the Lobos as the jewel in their recruiting crown for next year, Clayton Greyhounds 4 star FS Jose Callejon has torn his ACL. This happened in the first quarter of the Greyhounds 12-35 loss to John Burroughs Bombers and will require surgery over the next week. His recovery put's him on track to return to practice around a month before the season opener, if he can be ready to play that soon. Callejon will miss the rest of his senior season, including next weeks away trip to Cleveland NJROTC then the Class 4 State Tournament.

"It's a huge blow for him," remarked Casillas. "You never want to hear about this type of injury and a player missing the last few games of his high school career. The injury doesn't change our stance on his commitment to us and with him looking to early enrol in January, this gives him the best possible chance to play early on next season.

It is unknown how this will affect Callejon long term and how impactful he can be as a freshman. The 207th ranked player in the nation now has the battle of his life on his hands to come back from such a serious injury. It is hopeful that after surgery, he should regain his speed (B) and acceleration (B) that allow him to lay the big hits, with tackle (B) and hit power (B) being key attributes.

Interesting choice. Is the idea to force you to redshirt him instead of playing him immediately?

In my head, I'm not 100% sure yet, hopefully the game will naturally take me down one of the 4 or 5 ideas I have. As I'm not scouting, he is he a Gem, I can see his injury rating being really low (edited) so he has to be used sparingly or is out for much of his career, aka sicknote. If he is a bust, well that story probably just writes itself due to injury and he may be one of them "what if" players that never quite shows his true potential.

I have a few more in my head but nothing will happen until the next season now and see what the game makes him...
