Greece scored early against me, and Japan gave up a penalty and had a man sent off.

So Japan was down a man and 1-0, and Greece was dominating me, and also up 1-0.

At the end of the first half I got a penalty and tied it, and then in the second half switched to to an attacking/retain possession 4-1-2-1-2 and it worked brilliantly. I scored to take the lead, and then, miraculously, JAPAN TIED IT! And not only that, they held on, as did I, and South Africa has somehow managed to win the group and advance to the next round. Unbelievable. It was so nerve wracking.

Here are the final group standings.

I am surprised the US qualified and that Ghana finished on top of their group.

I have drawn Slovenia in the next round which should be a tough game, but the draw could have been much worse.

Whats this 'latest scores' widget?

It's in the match day info menu on the match screen. Shows you the other scores from games going on in the same competition you are playing in as they are happening.

Playing as Rangers and Aston Villa. My Villa sqaud is so damn inconsistent one match were world beaters the next we play like soda pop squad. Then with Rangers I have 8 people injured right now with six being first teamers and the other two being a solid reserves who I would have brought up to replace some of the injured. So that throws out any chance of CL glory even though I did draw with Porto in my first CL match.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

My computer **** the bed and I had to reformat my hard drive. Of course I didn't have a backup. So goodbye FM save files. I had one where I went from Celtic to Man U to Bayern in about 2017...gone.

And the one I was currently playing where I went from Mansfield Town to Southampton in 2013...gone.

There went about a week of my life.

Now I have to re-download the ginourmous facepack and all my add-on files. I'm going to invest in an external hard drive for backup purposes tomorrow as this is the second such incident I've had this year...thank goodness for Pod to PC and the fact that I keep ALL my music on my iPod, or I'd really be SOL there...

With Aston Villa in the Europa League I just beat Valencia 5-0. I really can not understand this damn team. I lose two in row with only one goal in those two games and then blow Valencia the hell outta the water. Plus Adriano I can not figure out how to get him going. Agbonlahor is about to replace him since he has scored in every game he has either started or come on in.

Then I had Man City come in and get my *** handed to me 0-6. Wow I really dont understand this team. We won possession and had more shots & chances.

For me, I'm using the Cut Out style Facepack, Catalogue Kits, FMG'09 Logos, and the Neue 2 skin.

Anyway, I've started another new game. This time with League Two side Notts County. Had a game with them on FM09, really enjoyed that.

Anybody try or know a place that has a review for the psp version.

I saw it available for download, and thought I see if it was worth it.
