EDIT: Forget that, Vela rejected Milan's contract offer, deals off.
I would have said no anyway. Vela is a beast for me and my leading goal scorer, and he's coming off the bench.

I just beat Liverpool 7-0!!!! Granted, they have fallen way down and will finish middle of the table (Man City is the new "Big Four" team, but still, I loved that win. Especially since it broke my streak of 1-0 victories. I am still not conceding any goals.

So I signed two bigtime players. One is a midfielder, Dean Whitehead, and the other is Finish defender/rightback Petri Pesonen. I think I'm booting Petrov out of the starting XI for Whitehead and Pesonen is to pair with Laursen and to replace Techno Viking when he leaves for Juventus.

I signed another young RB who is 19 and already playing in the Premier League and still trying to find that elusive cheap striker. I will say, Randy Lerner is one hell of a rich dude in this game. 40 mill for summer transfers, then 20 million for Jan transfers...insane.

Well Vela didn't stay much longer as City came in with a huge offer and the Chairman accepted.

In the end I did sign Kaka and Vela did leave

I have a quick question. In league cup games (FA, Carling, Copa del Rey, etc.) do you rest your 1st team regulars and play your reserves and backups, or do you risk the fatigue and unhappiness and play the regulars?

Started up a game as FC Zürich. Looking to challenge for the title and do well in the UEFA Cup.

Squad is pretty strong, just need to bring in a little depth.

Speaking of depth, how do you guys structure your squad? Like how many backups per position, etc...

I usually always rest key players in Carling Cup, FA Cup I usually bring up a few youngsters in the early rounds, and if I make it further I play my starters.

I usually play my reserves.

If I have the money I would prefer to have a backup for each position, (twenty two players.)
and then some youngsters waiting in the wings.

It depends on the round, but I play the reserves in the earlier stages so they stay happy and the starters don't get fatigued. Plus, by doing so I'm not risking injury to the starters.
