FM 2018 features revealed

Ugh. That was awful. And looking at all the changes, the screens of them at the end, I'm not happy with the look. It looks like a mobile game. That better not be the full version look. Because even with skins it would still look like a mobile game.

I don't think it looks like a mobile game persay, however it looks like they're going with player cards instead of a spreadsheet look for some of the new dynamics stuff.

Also the new dynamics stuff, is something that I'm so ready for, I need to get punished more severely for my constant chopping and changing of squads, and this looks like it will do exactly that.

The updates to scouting look good, but I'm interested to see how they all play out. I hope that some of the MLS AI is fixed so that a long-term MLS save is doable. Interested to see where the medical center goes, I like that there were more injuries this past year, as it added to the realism, especially with so many of them being minorish injuries.

If the Match Engine plays well, and the boneheaded errors are kept to the lower levels, this could be an excellent FM.

Doesn't matter, though, they'll almost always have my money.

I haven't bought since FM13 (milked the heck out of it), so I am sure the updates will be huge for me. I do this with all sports games, and when you rotate through them and only get a game in the franchise every 5-10 years, it feels so new and amazing.

So it does look different, but it didn't feel like "mobile" but less like a spreadsheet, like Suntan said. I'm sure the depth is still there.

I mean, I already bought it. Its not like I wont love it. I'm just not happy with the new mobile esq trying to look like FIFA Ultimate Team in the menus. I mean more info and feedback is great. I just don't like that look, at all. I'm hoping skins will be able to change it completely. Its a minor issue I know. But if I'm going to spend another 2000+ hours with the game, I'd rather not be annoyed by what I'm looking at.

Beta drops in a few weeks. I haven't been able to bring myself to play 17 since the feature announcement. Going to go hard into that beta, lol.
