Nope they didn't have a community day this cycle.

Did they not have one because they didn't want anyone to see the PS4 version yet?

I think it was something on the line of their schedule being different this year, having to make 3 versions of the game I'm sure they just didn't have the time to do one this year.

Can someone explain this concept to me? Part of baseball is working the count and finding your pitch. If you already have a 2-2 count (for example), doesn't that simply eliminate part of the game? I understand that it speeds up the game, but you wouldn't, in NFL games, say give me a quick 2nd down and 5 to speed things up.

But in most sports games you can adjust the time clock, right?

as far as I know, yes. football, hockey, soccer, basketball. all can adjust the time

I think it's more like for when you step up to the dish and know you're gonna take the first pitch 100% of the time, and know you're gonna take a 1-0 pitch 100% time, and know you're gonna take a 2-1 pitch 75% of the time, and so on, and this just says, "Here, you tried to wait the pitcher out, it's 0-2" or "Okay, here's the 2-1 you were waiting for," etc., allowing you to effectively skip the "waiting" bit. I had much the same idea before they even announced this feature.

I try to work the count as much as possible but it's different than actually being at the plate like when I was in high school (obviously haha) but I just have a hard time with the breaking pitches, plus I never use the guess pitch thingy.

Curious if the player edit options removed from PS3 are removed from PS4 as well? Talking about ability to edit helmets and caps.

I was just about to post this. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume yes it was left off of the PS4 as well. You can edit all the Minor League players still, you just can't edit the ML players helmets and Cap brims. Idk why this was left out. Licensing maybe?

If I recalled last year we could not edited the MLB players helmet. They were using the standard more protective helmet. But the cap brims were editable.

I don't know why they would remove those options. Glad you can still edit the minor league players though.
