I wonder if RTTS will be expanded to the point that 2k has expanded My Career-- that is not only on the field but off the field. Your player playing in a showcase game, having an agent, talking to veterans, coaches, the GM, the Owner, interacting with fans, teammates, etc. Having endorsments, stuff like that

Dying for some news, seems so late this year! Can't wait for gameplay, and those awesome fact sheets!

I think it's important that there is more variation. Whether that be in the way the game looks, the way the game is played, or the way it is presented. I like Madden 25 on the PS4, but the difference between that and a game like NBA 2K is that no game feels the same on 2K. Once you've played a few games of Madden you've pretty much seen it all.

The Show, especially early on, was great about this. As the console's lifespan wound down, things obviously began to get a little more stale. Hopefully, if nothing else, MLB: The Show 2014 on the PS4 feels new and different.

I think things like different swing animations (there are only about five, currently, IIRC), dynamic commentary, and different field (grass) styles would really help.

Yeah there needs to be much more swing animations. 5 is just pathetic to be honest.

I honestly just hope everything on the ps4 version is functioning as intended.

The 2k team really messed up in that department, but i believe in SCEA more.

Baseball lost a great person today. He was the only player to serve in 2 wars, won 4 world series with the Yanks, and was a great broadcaster with the Padres for 50 years. RIP, Jerry Colmen. As he said when someone made a great play, "you can hang a star on that one!" Well, God just got another star to hang in heaven.

That's what I really wish for, like the money figure the other game had, would be a nice surprise if we got something close.

Knight was saying a few days back that it's an MLB thing and they wont allow SCEA to use the real figures or figures close too it.

Since we now have the ability to continue seasons from year to year, it would be great if Sony updated rosters automatically before every game. I would happily wait an extra minute of load time to have updated rosters for every game.

I think he means if somehow you could start a franchise and have it update the rosters for you automatically before each day/game.

I think this is impossible quite frankly as it would need a total rewrite of how the game is coded for franchise...in effect making a completely new mode like they did for the exhibition version of this idea last year.
But without daily roster updates and shutting off/controlling nearly everything through the update(call ups.....trades.....injuries etc) ....it just wouldn't work properly.

There were quite a few ideas floating around on how to do this .....so we may see it someday...who knows?

The 2 features I love on ps4 is uploading and broadcasting gameplay. It'll be cool if I'm pitching a perfect game and I can show people live!
