If "fixes" included physics fixes I'd buy it also.

Yeah random little things like how floaty the ball is, and the high number of around-the-plate pop-ups. A lot of little things contribute to some unnatural feeling at the plate this year.

The 3 biggest flaws in this yrs game though minor!

            A. Not enough doubles on balls hit down the baselines!
            B. Seems to me CPU only scores their runs in the 3rd, 5th and 7th innings
            C. Combo (same subject) would love to see one button baserunning and get rid of guys slowing up to round bases! It's horrible!

What would make me a very happy camper:

-Realistic trade and free agent logic. (three-team trade and more than three players would be sweet too)

-Non-roster invitees (begging for this for years.)

-Better Rule V draft (Maybe an edit to put how many professional years a player has. With the OSFM roster, many top prospects are drafted before being Rule V eligible)

-An edit to change how many options a player has left (a ton are inaccurate)

              - In-season extensions

-The new completive balance rounds and ability to trade those pics.

              Thoughts?

                A. This is an issue, but I think it helps to reduce OF speed with one of the sliders (can't remember which one, but it says it in the description) and/or increase baserunner speed. I've been noticing more doubles on hits down the line when I did the adjustments.

                B. Hadn't noticed that. Will look through my previous boxscores to see if that's the case.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

I would also like to see player tendencies.

                  EX:
Errors: Is the fielder more likely to make a fielding error or throwing error?

That "should" already be in the game, since players already have throwing ratings and fielding ratings. A player with a great glove and a bad arm "should" have a much lower accuracy/arm rating and a higher chance of making a throwing error.

                      - Teams making realistic offseason moves. If Robinsin Cano is an unrestricted free agent, the bidding war should be between the Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, Dodgers, etc. I don't want the Padres signing him. As of now trades/free agent deals are just random.

                      - Some type of trade deadline coverage

                      - Expanded all-star rosters, and ones not full of closers

                      - Recurring injuries
Player Personalities - This overall would should just mean different cutscenes for specific players giving you a feel for the type of personality a player has. Also would need to be included in RTTS, editing and Creating players.

The whiners - Bautista style, complains about balls/strikes gets tossed the odd game. see them fired up shaking heads.

The Goofballs - Kawasaki, Kevin Millar, Torii Hunter - The ones you would see putting the gum on players hats in the dugout, smiling laughing doing weird things in between pitches in the field, bouncing around during the on field interviews etc...

The Cocky ones (shutters) - Bryce Harper, Brett Lawrie etc. - Play with fire, yell and clap at the dugout after a base hit or stolen base, go crazy when they score in the dugout and scream when they get out. (this could be added to all players during playoffs)

The Professionals - Jeter, Griffey, Lofton etc. - Cutscenes of mentoring, more curtain calls, helmet and cap tips, being the first one leading teams on the field (have that as an option as to who), the player who holds the World Series trophy first, the one talking to the manager the most in the dugout.

and The blah ones - Adam Lind, Jacoby Ellsbury, Todd Helton - basically with these you could keep them at default how everyone is now. little emotion, cool and collected.

I thought of some more stuff when I was playing last night:

                        Presentation:
                        • More dugout interaction, and less "cut scenes". More real time reaction footage.
                        • Fans reacting to fly balls and liners into the stands. I'd love it if I hit a deep bomb and the camera focused in on the person who ended up with the ball.
                        • Better stat overlays.
                        • More celebration when a player reaches a milestone.
                        • More dynamic crowd noise. Later in the game the crowd should be louder (as long as it's close, that is).
                        • MLB.tv studio updates.
                        • More variance regarding the sound of hits.
                        • WAY more signiture swings. My least favorite aspect of The Show is seeing the same swings over and over again.
                        • Rain games and weather delays.

                        Gameplay:
                        • More hit variance. There still aren't enough choppers, bloopers, liners on the foul lines, etc.
                        • Player tendencies. Some examples: swings early, fastball hitter, patient, good eye, etc.
                        • More fielding animations.
                        • Increase the overall size of the field.

                        Franchise:
                        • Ability to customize ball-parks, and factor that into the visual presentation.
                        • Change the trade logic. There should be more value on top prospects, less on aging big names, and a focus on monetary value.
                        • Add the ability to trade cash.
                        • Add Winter Meetings, and use it as a hot-spot for trading and FA signings.
                        • More CPU generated lists. I love the top 50 prospects thing, but give us a ranking 1-50 (or better yet, 100). It would also be cool to see a list of possible trade targets that are ranked.
                        • Add a ticker to the trade deadline.
                        • Allow for the CPU to counter-offer, and offer more trades in general.
                        • Have a trade-finder.
                        • Improve CPU lineup logic.

Agree with this 100%, hit a ball into the corner with Reyes last night and ended up with a single, it was right down the left field line and the fielder cut it off, with his speed it should be an automatic double!

I'm just looking for a bug free game with franchise improved at 1080p 60fps with good AA for once. That is all I want out of this coming year's version.

And uniform corrections for the love of god. Put the stripe on the Twins grey uniforms .

The way things get in the later years of Franchise/RTTS needs to be seriously looked at.

                              Things like:
                              - 33 year old rookies (every year, and many of them)
                              - 350 avg and 180 RBI being the norm
                              - Contract numbers being way too low, most players aren't even making 1M

And that's just a couple problems, none of these things were issues in other versions of the show, hopefully this can be fixed for next years game.

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)

I wouldn't mind seeing the trade deadline handled the way that it is in the NHL franchise (as least as of NHL 12).

In that series the trade deadline triggers a mini-game in which a certain number of offers come in per hour. Once you review, accept, or decline those offers you are then allowed to make a certain number of offers within that hour as well or choose to advance to the next hour. This continues for approximately four to five cycles (hours) until the deadline passes.

It helps to make trade deadline trading feel distinctive from trades at other points in the season and brings a sense of urgency to the whole situation as well.

For instance, now at the trade deadline in The Show you can stop the simulation and make 100's of different combinations of offers to various teams to acquire whoever you want. In the NHL version of the deadline, the player you really want stands the chance of going to a team willing to meet the original team's price because trade simulation is going on even though game simulation is not.

If team X offers me a deal for player X (who I would love to have) I better not screw around too much or team X will actively search for another home for that player. It makes me take the computer's offers a little more seriously as final offers instead of starting points for endless trade discussions.

It does not allow me to play with the system by limiting the number of offers I can make right at the deadline which adds a bit more to the pressure when reviewing or making offers.

In in a vaguely related note, I am also in favor of seeing the number of players possible in a trade jump up from the current 3 and having the option to include cash or eat some of a larger contract would be nice as well.
