It's a placeholder date until SCEA releases that info.

I have 2k but haven't seen where to do extensions. Where is it?

Somewhere in the management screen in franchise mode I'm assuming. Honestly I don't know I haven't played 2k since 2k8. You can also edit player contracts from the player editor from what I understand.

I read through about 14 pages before giving up so I apologize if this is duplicated, but I'd like to see more interaction between the players. First bumps, high fives, players coming to the dugout steps to greet a batter after hitting a HR or runner who just scored, etc. Camera cuts into the dugout, which are seen almost every game IRL of player reactions and sound coming from the dugouts. Also, uniform details whether it be correct colors, combinations, the addition of low-cut stirrup socks, open-button jersey tops, jewelry, etc. An accessory "reset" if you will, when doing franchise mode. Players drafted by the A's or Dodgers not having proper cleat colors. These are "little things" but can go a long way to sustaining the replay factor. After a while the game gets a little stale, especially in franchise mode where you KNOW trades are broken, free-agent signings not making sense, and all of those little things that eventually take the wind out of my MLB The Show sails...

This comment is so on point,

I'd also add to that more shots of the crowd celebrating after a big play.

Especially in the playoffs, when the crowd is going crazy, it would add a lot more to the playoff feel

I'm hungry... for news! Even though I'll be disappointed if we don't get the show in March, at least I'll have spring games and then the start of the season to keep my baseball fire burning! Plus my team got the best pitcher on the market in Tanaka!

Is that based on the zero pitches he's ever thrown in the MLB? or just the classic Yankees fan mentality?

Lets wait until he throws a pitch in the bigs first...he could end up like Dice k. Nothing is certain in baseball.

So are the guys saying "Lets wait till he throws a pitch first" saying that a AAA prospect went 23-0 last year with his stats would be a little excited to have the guy pitch for them compared to what was on the market this year? Im a Jays fan and do not like NY getting any better, even slightly but seriously? the guy isnt a bobsledder that has never played baseball in his life and making a career change here

Exactly Mlb Bob. Trust me guys, I'm not like most Yanks fans. Do I love the Yankees? Yes, but I'm first and foremost a baseball fan, I'm also realistic. And 24-0 is 24-0, no matter how you look at it. We all know he won't do that in the majors, but he was the best starting pitcher available. And for the record, I own all the world series collectors editions, even the 04, 07 and 2013 sets... that doesn't seem like classic Yankees mentality to me. I do take pride in one thing that shows my love for the Yanks, haven't missed a radio broadcast since I was 6 in 96.

My gut tells me Tanaka will have a bigger year for the Yanks than C.C., Beltran, Jeter & A-Rod combined. (lol A-Rod)
McCann & Tanaka will carry the Yankees this year but I don't think there will be ball in NYC come October.

I wonder if expecting Tanaka to be rated at least a 90 in the Show is expecting too much?

I would agree on your point about Cc, but I would never bet against Beltran and Jeter. And don't forget about Elsbury. If they can stay healthy, there's no reason they shouldn't get back to the playoffs. Big if I know, especially with Roberts, but I feel much more excited than I did this time last year.

I was wondering a staff of Darvish , Ryu , Wie Yen Chen , Iwakuma , and Tanaka would be like But it's too early for me to invest in him in my franchise because the franchise carries over now. Maybe by the time OSFM is out they have a feel for him.
