Anyone else a bit underwhelmed after today? Not just the release date, I feel like they overhyped things a bit too much. Not quite sure what I was expecting, but it was definitely more.

I get what you're saying. I feel if they actually showed the PS4 version in live action as well as the PS4 versions fact sheet - we would all be still picking our jaws off the floor. However, the pics they posted got me excited but I am definitely now craving more. Again..I get what you're saying though.

Still have my PS3, but Ill probably just get the vita version and play that until the PS4 version comes out. I dont want to buy 3 versions of the Show.

Ramone, I saw that PS4 fans catch foul balls now. Will we see fans catching homerun balls, and trying to pick up a ball in the crowd? Would be amazing. Thanks. Can you give us a little detail about this? Thanks man

I have some PS3 games but no system, on the bright side I have my PS4 and 1/2 dozen games to tide me over till May.

However, I might contest that it wasn't Sony that overhyped the game--it was all of us.

Well they really haven't covered any modes yet. For the PS4 I fully expect the show to have detailed, year-to-year, stat tracking in all modes. The game should have a sim engine and stat tracker equivalent to OOTP. Is that too much to ask from next gen?

Gotta remember this is the transition year. Look back to MLB 07 to see what I mean.

Granted it took about 3-4 years for The Show to really shine on PS3.

So with the cloud saving and going from platform to platform, I may have this wrong please inform me if I do, I can buy the ps3 version and start a season and then say im on game 53 and then when ps4 drops load that information of my season the the ps4 and start from game 53?

Then if they offer an upgrade for $10 this would be fantastic.

Possibly late may is immensely disappointing. I bought a ps4 last week after the shortage ended. Purchased nba2k14 with it. Never opened because I was waiting for an update on the show 14.

Now I got it and im going to return my ps4 and nba. Im not complaining or revulting...It's just stupid in my opinion to own a system im going to play sparingly for 3 months while the flagship title I want is so far off. Plus from what I hear NBA is better on PC, and I love March Madness 2k14.

The other side of the coin is, for most of us fans of bad teams (I happen to be a Brewer and Mariners fan) by the time Late May comes I stop feeling so amped for baseball when my teams are out of it. I still follow it, but I don't get that "omg have to have the game to play everyday" feeling I do when the game comes out before the season begins.

Im worried That the reason to own a ps4 combined with the waning interest in the season might make me skip 14 altogether next gen and just wait till next year when the system has more games and investing 400 dollars makes better sense.

I have NBA2k14 for PC & PS4. The PC version is not better. It's basically 2k13 with roster updates on PC.

I'm definitely underwhelmed by the graphics, but i expect to be overwhelmed with the fact sheet and the way the game plays.

I love how people are disappointed after receiving exactly what was promised. All that was promised was an interview and information on release dates. That's what we got and we got even more. I can't see how anybody would be disappointed in this; just because Billy Bob at Gamestop says that all three are coming out on April 1st doesn't mean that he's correct (and he/she wasn't).

The game will be great when it comes out in May; I'm sure a lot of people who flustered themselves today will agree with me on the day it drops.
