Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Might go the cheaper route then. I planned on Moving McCann to 1st Base and giving Sanchez a shot in the bigs a couple years down. Probably not gonna make a move now, wait to see who's a free agent in the offseason. If I can't get someone better, I'll pull the trigger for Castro. Thanks for the insight.
I know in my upcoming Yankees chise I will be dealing for Chris Owings. He would be much cheaper than Castro.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm playing as the Cardinals wrapping up the month of May with OSFM in 2014. After winning 13 straight to start off the year, my redbirds have started to become a bit more modest with only 2 wins above .500 since the win streak ended.
I have been struggling to get production out of my 2B slot. Kolten Wong was barely hitting .200 and was demoted to AAA to grow a bit more. In his stead, I have used Kean Wong (FA) but despite his nice contact stats, only put up a BA of .180.
I'd like to trade for a big bat at 3B, SS, or 2B. (I can adjust positions to accommodate anyone.) Hopefully a heart of the order type of threat.
I could trade away a variety of people both prospects and at the MLB level. I just want to mention that Lynn and Kelly have both struggled thus far in the season (4.00+ ERA) while Jon Jay has put up ridiculous numbers with a Top 5 BA and OPS.
Both Kelly and Lynn have struggled with my Cardinals posting up ERA well above 4.00. Jay has seen a surge of production with a BA of nearly .350. Top 5 in BA, and OPS.
Anyone have any suggestions on who I could go after? I'm looking for fair and realistic.Comment

Yeah, I've seen him suggested in the thread before but I'm just not that interested in him. I'd rather just trade for an amazing defensive player and take the .220 at the plate rather than Headley for around .250.Comment

I just started my Mariners franchise. Id like to switch things up a bit (keeping Cano, Franklin, Walker, and Hernandez preferably). Anyone have any recommendations? Someone to help Cano offensively would be niceComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Both are pretty cheap.
Altuve for Mitchell + Nova
Cabrera for Mason Williams/Heathcott + Greg Bird
80 Fielding, 70 arm, 73 accuracy and 77 reaction to go along with decent speed (60) and good hitting. Plus he's pretty cheap and only 29 so you can keep him for 5 years or so.Comment

Yes but add another small piece coming back. Something to replace MadBum with. I'm thinking ThornburgFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

What do you guys think about this deal as far as fairness?
Cubs get: Taylor Gurrieri, Alex Colome
Rays get: Arismendy Alcantara (dominating AAA, raised potential to low-A, Gioskar Amaya (Solid C+,B- prospect) Wesley Wright (1.38 ERA)
Thanks! Literally have nowhere for Alcantara to play, so I should deal him for young pitchingComment

Thanks man. I think i'ma stick with this deal, cause Guerrieri is dominating AA (2.10 ERA) and raised his potential to an A. Love this deal.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys, I'm approaching July in my Mets 'chise (Standing in the last Wild Card spot) and I am looking to acquire a bat for the middle of my order as I currently rank either last or close to it in all hitting categories. The Dodgers have Eithier on the block and are looking for a Catcher or RP. However, the only player on my roster they have interest in is Teagarden or d'Arnaud. So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for a realistic package I can offer the Dodgers in return for Eithier.
Thanks.Comment
