If you include a minor-medium piece with Shark you can get Pineda and Sanchez. Pineda seems to be doing below average.

I haven't really kept up in baseball for 3-4 years now so I'm a little out of the loop as far as what trades I should pursue. Anyone have any advice? I'm using the Cubs BTW.

As the Cubs it really just depends on what route you want to take the team. If you're doing well by the trade deadline, you have some nice prospects for trading chips. If not, and you want to add to the farm system, there are some guys that have decent trade value (if they're performing well).

If you want to win now, I'd look to improve the outfield. Matt Kemp or Andre Ethier are options in a crowded Dodgers outfield right off the top of my head. Jayson Werth, Alex Rios, Josh Reddick, Hunter Pence, and Domonic Brown are all guys that are affordable and could help. All should be attainable with a pair of B prospects, some with a B and a C prospect.

If you are looking towards the future, Samardzija could net you some nice prospects. If Jason Hammel is pitching well, he could have a little bit of trade value. Same applies for Schierholtz, Valbuena and Kalish, but they'd have to be killing it.

What are some spots Nova could go before Spring training ends? I've been thinking of Pittsburgh or the Rockies (would be awful at Coors but that pitching staff is awful). Angels? The Marlins (too far fetched)? Royals? Padres? Eh really stuck on this, have 7 starters and he's the odd one out. Starting Phelps over him and Aceves is #6, for some reason I can really pitch with Aceves.

Minnesota would be a good fit

Ah yeah forgot about them, Buxton would look nice in Pinstripes *sarcasm*. I'll check out there roster next time I'm on. Although I might stick with him and trade him come deadline time (saw a couple Yanks trades I liked on here). If the Giants are out of the race might go after the Panda & Lincey depending on how they're doing individually as well.

I know this isn't realistic at all, but what would it take for the Cubs to get Manny Machado from the O's?

If you search the thread its been discussed a good amount but if you want to get a quality power hitting OF like I was looking for then you'll have to deal Franklin or Miller. Guys I was looking at were Desmond Jennings from TB and Stephen Piscotty from the Cards. I also like trading Ackley for Anthony Gose as a Jays fan. I forget the packages for Piscotty and Jennings, but they start with Franklin, if you search the thread it should be in here.

                        Baez or Bryant plus some.

The White Sox and Rockies need desperate pitching help.

What kind of a package would it take for the Mariners to get Puig? Obviously it's gotta start with Walker...then Nick Franklin, don't wanna give up Paxton ideally, maybe Montero and another piece like DJ Peterson. Would that be enough?

Going off the spreadsheet it would look something like this

                            Walker + Peterson + Gohara + Franklin

Bryant/Baez + Alcantara + Edwards. Might seem like an overpay but that is around where the O's value him

Hedges to Philly for Biddle + Bastardo.

                                Thoughts?
