I think if you use Syndergaard or Montero (if they're both A potential, which I assume they are) and add de Grom (B potential) that would work. Cespedes is probably worth a mid-A and a B level prospect. I think the chart would agree what that evaluation.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks everyone. Appreciate the input.
I think that wile a better move for me than going after Price. With Murphy, Wright and Cespedes atleast I'll have a pretty solid 2,3,4, with Ike Davis and some other decent guys following.
How do you feel about like Syndergaard and Nimmo and/or Cecchini? I'd like to still be able to have the option for a package like Montero, de Grom, Puello for another solid bat or starter.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks for all the great info yesterday re: my Padres / Headley situation...
Here's an update with some possibilities:
SD is currently 24-26 and is in third place in the NLW / 2 games out of first place
I checked the other teams trading block needs and three teams are looking for a 3B:
NYY: Nothing interesting to me to trade for
MIL: Interested in Haniger (LF) / Delmonico (3B) / Morris (1B)
LAD: Interested in Guerreo (2B) / Arruebarrena (SS)
My first choice would be Guerreo, although I'm not thrilled with the idea of sending Headley to join Gonzales with a division rival...
Otherwise, I kind of like the first two listed from MIL
Questions:
Would LAD trade Guerreo for Headley in any straight up or packaged scenarios?
Failing that, what would be a good package to offer MIL for 2 or 3 of those players listed?
What looks good / makes sense, etc?
Thanks!Comment

Ok in that case I'm thinking Montero, de Grom, and either Cecchini, Nimmo or Puello. Of those three id most like to keep Puello and would prefer to make it Cecchini as the third if that's enough value for Cespedes. This would allow me to make another trade using a package of Syndergaard and the two other hitters left that I mentioned previously, which is plenty for another good bat or solid starter.

Not looking for realism at all here, but what kind of pieces would need to be thrown in to make a swap of Stanton and Harper fair?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys I am running a Cubs franchise. We are playing really well sitting 1 game back in the division behind Cin towards the end of May. I am looking to upgrade my outfield. I would like to go after someone like Matt Holliday or Jason Heyward to give a veteran presence and some pop. What do you think it will take to get one of them? I would like to keep Baez, bryant, Olt, Castro, Rizzo, Bonificao, Castillo. Thanks
I think whatever the Mets would give up. Rather than just two SPs, they would take something like Montero + d'Arnaud or Syndergaard + Flores

As far as MIL, for some reason the spreadsheet doesn't have any of their top prospects. So I would say Headley + like Kelly for Morris, Haniger + something else. You could also look at their 2B Gennet. He's young and pretty good.Comment

If so, what kind of pieces might either / both teams have to add to make a fair package?
Continued thanks!Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You would have to give up a lot to get Taveras. Headley + Hedges + Wisler + Fried. So in other words no haha. Look at Siegrist, he's solid. Siegrist + an OF prospect or two could workComment
