That sounds reasonable to me. It gives me some space, I'll take a look at that.

I checked out the Yankees and they don't really have anything :/ Only thing is Pineda. Any other ideas?

What do you think about the Reds, Dodgers, Diamondbacks and Red Sox?

Trade Perkins for Espinosa/Storen and immediately get a new closer in Storen?

Problem is pretty much everyone with value is a player you mentioned you want to keep. The Twins system is one of the worst so I don't blame you for wanting to keep the talent. Hicks and Arcia hold some trade value but that's not enough to get Revere/Brown from the Phillies.

Can't come up with anything good in regards to Gattis from Atlanta.
I like the DC trade, think I may do that. I though Desmond was to much but it was worth a try.

And yeah other than Meyer, Buxton and Sano there isn't much else worth talking about in the minors. Is there anyway I can just get Brown or Revere rather than both? Then I will just rush Buxton to the bigs and use him in either Left or Centre field.

And I didn't think I would be able to get Gattis as I have sod all to offer.

So i need a non-bias guy for trade help here, Webster for Asdrubal is still up in the air and doing the Middlebrooks one soonish in my franchise. Yan Gomes, won't have an extension and i can't give him one so that point is not really needed in this one player franchise. (will give him one in my 30-team one)

I'd do the deal if I were the Indians and out of contention. I'd do the deal if I were Boston and could move
Bogaerts to 3B (if you've traded Middlebrooks)

Yeah I think the DC one is really good.

Hicks, Arcia and Pinto could be attractive for a Phillies team trying to rebuild. Those three could probably fetch you Ben Revere and Dom Brown (if he isn't living up to expectations in 2014).

Yeah I can imagine the Yankees being a bit shorthanded on prospects without the OSFM rosters. Do you have Betances in there? He could be one of the pieces coming back. Pineda isn't realistic I'm afraid.

Only other possible team out of the ones you listed is the Dodgers if you ask me. No true prospects to be had from the SCEA roster though I guess?

I may have to jump on the phillies trade, it all depends on how far developed Buxton is to be honest.

If I don't pull the trigger on the Phillies trade any way you reckon I could use Arcia and/or Hicks to prize away Jason Castro and Jarred Cosart/Brett Oberholtzer. Would love all three but guessing Cosart is to valuable?

Speaking of the Phillies trade, I might add Jarred Burton to the mix as well making it a 4 for 2 swap.

The only players the Astros are trading away are vets making Cosart and Oberholtzer untouchable. Castro is on that red thin line in between but I think he stays. All-around catchers that produce offensively are valuable.

If you want an offensive catcher in the Gattis mold, may I suggest Lavarnway of the Red Sox? Could probably get him for Burton

Yeah I thought they were probably untouchable to be honest. And thats a good call didn't even think of him to be honest.

Actually think I'd make those two deals myself if I were running with the Twins. Perkins for Espinosa/Storen and Burton for Lavarnway. The Twins have a weak bullpen to begin with and loosing Perkins and Burton leaves it as a big black hole from space. Getting Storen is a step in the right direction and he could step into the closer role. I'd try and get either May/Meyer into the pen or think about converting Phil Hughes back into a SU

Yeah two trades that help the offence with Espinosa and Lavarnway. Then Storen as a straight swap pretty much for Perkins in the closer role. And I would either move Meyer into long relief or your idea with Phil Hughes creates a spot in the starting rotation for Meyer which is where I want him to be honest.

SCEA is Sony Computer Entertainment Arts or the company that makes the show. The SCEA made players are random fictional minor leaguers.

Oh then ya there aren't many great ones on any team that needs help. I guess I'll just keep my guys in the minors for now and when the trade deadline comes if Headley or someone is on fire I'll look for some teams in contention. I'll be back! Thanks for the help!

Alright, sounds good. Will make the Middlebrooks deal at some point during the season and if the Indians are out of it near that same point i will pull the trigger on the Asdrubal deal as well.
