Kottaras could probably start and that's not really that big an if from Barney, he just got BABIP'd. Barney for Asdrubal is probably even surplus value.

Realistically what could the return be on Ivan Nova? I'm looking for a pitching prospect.

Back end of the top 100, maybe.

Lewis Thorpe, Jesse Biddle, Rafael Montero, Lucas Sims, Clayton Blackburn, Eddy Rodriguez, Jimmy Nelson, etc.

Agree with AC on this. I was thinking about the Phillies and how Nova would slot in nicely in their rotation. Aim for something in return like Jesse Biddle/Adam Morgan plus Justin DeFratus/BJ Rosenberg. Would give you a SP prospect and a MRP for the majors

End of May and I traded Quentin to the Reds.

Quentin is batting .346 with 18 home runs at about 61 games.

Traded him to the Reds for 2 A prospects. One is a closer and is 65 overall and the other is a SP who is 67 overall.

I was offered Joe Kelly for Dominic Brown and Freddy Galvis in my online franchise.... I ended up letting it expire but who would have won that trade?

EDIT: Misread. Dom Brown side wins big.

Curious what kind of young talent or a package for a superstar the Indians could trade Swisher for.

I consider it to be somewhat of a toss up and you win if you feel that the trade fills a need for you. The Phillies could sure use an extra arm and Kelly would slot in nicely. Can you replace Dom Brown's production in the lineup with someone else? Galvis carries some to none value but could easily be replaced from within with Cesar Hernandez or Kevin Frandsen

Any specific position on the player(s)/prospect(s) you'd want in return.

I think Pittsburgh and Baltimore are nice options with a return to Oakland being bit of a dark horse

I'm not a believer in Dom Brown and I think Joe Kelly has more to offer than we've seen so far. I'd gamble on it
