Rex Brothers would be sweet, but do you think the Rockies would be interested in another SS/2B guy? They have Tulo, LeMahieu, and Rutledge. Also, I feel like the only thing they really need to be a contender is a pitching staff. I would really love him, though.

Bastardo does look interesting. I may have to check that out.

Suarez to TOR for Delabar/Cecil, and then move Reyes or him to second?

I don't know if either team would be all that interested in another middle infielder. The Phillies are probably going to get rid of Rollins, but Freddy Galvis should get time there to man the gap between Rollins and J.P. Crawford. Suarez is young, and could be there as a fallback if Crawford somehow falls off the map, I guess. But, ultimately I don't think the Phillies move Utley, so they won't need yet another middle infielder. (not that I think that's what they should do, Amaro is just a moron)

You're definitely right about the Rockies though. If you've got another B prospect you'd part with, Brothers should be obtainable.

I think Huston Street could be had for a couple of C's, which probably is better for your farm considering there's not a lot of highly ranked guys as is.

I'm really blanking on other relievers to suggest right now.. I know there's a ton more, sorry lol.

Sorry, got confused, meant value not lefty. If you think Marshall is an upgrade from Coke, the Reds could be interested. However, I may be undervaluing.

You really think Delabar could be had? He'd instantly be the best reliever on my staff.

Yes. He was nearly dealt earlier this year. Maybe give them a hard throwing RP back.

So does anyone have any tips on a good super utility player (with good speed) and catcher? I'm eying Bonafacio, and Harrison, but is there anyone else who is flying under my radar? Other than Zobrist, I don't feel like paying what it will take to get him. I'm also in the market for a decent backup catcher who is good behind the plate, and not a slouch with the bat. Trying to fill the voids left by Bloomquist and Buck. Also trying to find a decent non expensive stop gap SS until the SS I drafted is ready. Since I traded Franklin and a midlevel prospect for Billy Hamilton, and Brad Miller stunk up the joint.

Not sure how your franchise is set up for Detroit, but if Jose Iglesias is playing, Eugenio Suarez is available. He's not too expensive and could fill a hole for a while.

Realistically, I am not sure the Cubs would depart with Bonafacio, considering they just signed him. Zobrist is really good and expensive, like you said, but is definitely on the move.

I have a trade I would really like to do but I would like to run it by you guys. Most of these guys are generic so I will post stats, ovrs, etc.

                        Hou sends:
Sid Erbe 23 yo (77 Ovr mid A) 5-8 4.68 ERA in AAA
                        Kareem Jones 25 yo (84 mid A) 8-5 4.67 ERA in AAA
                        Nick Castellanos 29 yo (90 Ovr low A) .298/.344/.588 17 HR 44 RBI's in MLB

                        Reds send:
Freddie Casillas 26 yo (88 Ovr high A) 7-6 3.65 ERA in MLB

The Reds are out of it here near the deadline and need some SP peospects and could use an upgrade at 3rd. I have some good 3rd base prospects but they didn't want them and I couldn't do the deal without Castellanos in it for some reason.
Also Casillas was on the trade block and I could use a good SP to help my playoff run.

Are you sure? Casillas is a high A (96-99 potential) I thought it wouldn't be enough honestly lol, but I had to ask.
