I think you are okay. I can't see Meadows traded for Ike Davis.

i would think so, but still got to be nervous about that player to be named. would hate for it to be jacoby jones, but that would be more acceptable than the two guys drafted ahead of him. (meadows, mcguire)

Buuut, if Mauer is having his signature season, you could probably get Lawrie, if you don't really care about realism. The Twins really need starting pitching so I suggest you go after LHPs Daniel Norris/Sean Nolin and Roberto Osuna. Or maybe RHP Marcus Stroman and RHP Tom Robson (C+ POT)
I didn't mean Mauer had to go to Toronto, I am happy to move mauer for other assets like pitching then go after Lawrie separately.

Cheers buddy sounds like a plan to me thanks for the help

I'm leaning towards someone like Nick Franklin or maybe Dee Gordon, but im not really sure what it would take to get those guys as well as if there are any other options out there

I'm also leaning towards acquiring a young 1b, with some pop and ablity to produce more than Davis/Duda

Sorry last one lol. I'm also going to look to gain some cheap lefty help for the bullpen. Preferably in exchange for a low level prospect swap or something. I'm willing to trade almost anyone except of course Wright, wheeler, Harvey, darnaud, and maybe Granderson.

Thanks for the time and sorry if it's long lol but I really appreciate the help
Sign Drew.. Keep Tejada for days when you're facing a tough lefty. Like an 85% Drew 15% Tejada platoon. But only play Tejada on days when Drew needs a day off. (preferred lefties)

Trade for Billy Butler if you can deal with him playing 1st.. even though hes more suited for DH. But I'm sure the Royals would deal him for a good young SP. Montero for Butler, or Degrom + another spec.

As far as lefty relief.. Trade Ike for Zach Britton of the Orioles. He brings a hard throwing lefty out of the pen, whereas Rice is more of a loogy specialist to get ground balls.

I posted a similar question yesterday a few pages back and one suggestion was something like Gee, Montero and a C prospect for Franklin and possibly another minor player, which seems pretty fair.
Also if you plan on playing more than one season Dominic Smith should be ready at some point in 2015 to fill the first base role.

2015 seems awfully early for Smith to come up. He isn't even 20 years old, and his ETA should be around 2017. But you are right, he can get a rental first baseman till he is ready.

Oops I thought I typed 2016 but yeah most reports say 2016-2017 is when he'll be ready

Correct me if I`m wrong, but hasn`t Nick Franklin`s stock fallen at least a little? Are you guys sure Gee AND Montero AND another piece isn`t too much?

                    Thanks lol

I was thinking a Gee-Montero-DeGrom-Steven Matz package for Smoak and Franklin. Might be too much

Eh, I think Duda is a non-factor, SEA has enough 1B-DH types.
I would trade them Montero-DeGrom-Robert Whalen

Everth Cabrera is a decent hitting SS and is fast and a good fielder
