Could someone recommend a back up catcher to trade for that has a decent bat and decent glove?

Also maybe look at Cardinals SP's like Jaime Garcia, Joe Kelly Shelby Miller. All of them won't cost an arm and a leg and shoudl give you quality starts every time.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Anybody have any recommendations on which 2b/3b or utility inf that i can trade for with speed? I'm using the Yankees in my franchise, and I primarily like to steal bases with runners on. Solarte, Jeter, and Roberts are OKAY so far, but i'd like a speed guy to change things up.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Is there really such a thing as a catcher that's a defensive liability in the game? They don't account for a catcher's ability to receive pitches, and blocking doesn't come into play all that often. The biggest thing is throwing out baserunners, which I don't know how Doumit is rated in that regard.Comment

Doumit cannot block whatsoever though and he can't really hit. Erik Kratz is certainly better.
I hope one day the Show adds a receiving attribute. It's a skill.

Also, send Dickey to an NL team for a couple of their top 10 prospects."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Nah, throwing out base runners is something like 70% or above who's on the mound, not the catcher. Holding runners seems to be something of a skill.
