You could recreate 2004 #1 overall pick Matt Bush.

Well I asked this a few pages ago but it got lost in the Indians talk. What would it take to get Moreland to SD?

Interesting question. Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but I always like acquiring Kyle Drabek for a young, upside arm. For some reason, he's one of those random guys who I can pitch well with. He is 26, but should never be too hard to acquire. He could probably use a change of scenery as well.

Also, has anyone in the past ever came up with a list of 1-Year Deal Players for the following season? For instance, players who underperform or who were hurt, so they swing a 1 year deal to gain some momentum in FA the following season. I always play with low budget teams, and it's always fun to sign players who got rocked, but have potential, to a one year deal, and see how they perform - typically Veterans.

Hundley is rumored to be a Texas target IRL. You could add a MID C or a reliever as mentioned above to make it a fair deal

And honestly i dont hate the pick. Yes Verlander is better but Bush was a talented homegrown kid. He just needs to drinkless

Hmm. Got a different idea in mind for Moreland?

Well that would work. Currently through 9 games started Hundley is batting 4.56 and with 4 home runs haha. Sadly Grandal is batting under .200 :/

                        Maybe Hundley + Vincent/Thayer?

Love the Drabek suggestion and a list would be sick! I wish i was motivated enough to make one :/

I actually like that deal but i dont value Moreland very highly.

And those numbers are absurd.... Lol

That happens a lot with Padres players
