depending on how Martin is performing, I guess Venable could work....Quentin and JJ are too injury-prone.....Headley would be an overpay and he's not a 1B.....im meh on Hundley

Martin? No, Moreland, unless that's what you meant haha. Although I wouldn't mind Martin Perez haha.

Hmm ok, well I'll see when it gets closer to the deadline. I just wanna get a rough estimate on what I'm gonna trade away.

Looking to (maybe) trade Trout for some good starting and relief pitching. Who do you guys suggest?

If I was the Padres I would trade Cashner, Wisler, Fried, our stadium plus some really really good Mexican food.

I know it's blasphemous to even talk about, but I'm curious to see what kind of pitching I might be able to get.

Pick your poison. You could pretty much land any prospect in America. The top guys are Archie Bradley, Taijuan Walker, Noah Syndergaard, etc. Honestly I think it may be best to choose a target in your case because Trout is likely the most valuable trade player.

Moreland on the Pads? Aren't him and Yonder pretty similar players (with Moreland having a slightly better hit tool)? Maybe not, and it's just me, haha.

The Rangers need bullpen help badly - with all the injuries + Ogando struggling, and the Padres have an excellent pen'.

As far as position players, Denorfia is always really underrated in my book as a quality starter or very, very good 4th OF. I like Amarista with his flexibility - even if he's not hitting too well this season. I'd rather have him than Donnie Murphy or Josh Wilson, anyways. Hundley could also help the Rangers.

                          Dont trade Trout

I totally get the logic but he is putting up unseen numbers

Go to teams with the best farm systems & rack up on prospects.

Moreland is has much better power. Yonder is all contact. Moreland would be playing the OF though.

I was thinking of maybe Hundley and Nick Vincent or something along those lines.

Currently my bullpen looks like this.

                              CP: Siegrist
                              SU: Torres
                              SU: Street
                              LRP: Benoit
                              MRP: Thayer
                              MRP: Vincent

You could go to the Padres and Get Wisler, Fried, Cashner and Gyorko and maybe more.
